Wow everyone!! If you’re in Colorado Springs this stop is a MUST. It’s taken me so long to find an authentic Arab food restaurant and I finally had an incredible!!! I love it!!! I’m going to hike at garden of the gods next week just to go again!

Best Arab food in the area, the portions are more than generous and the owner was incredibly friendly and made the place feel more like a home than a restaurant

Another 5 star gem. Delicious, authentic cuisine and the atmosphere is like stepping into another world. Vibrant and so tasty! Come and try it for yourself. And now I know what Turkish delight (the thing Edmund asks for in Chron. of Narnia) tastes like!

We LOVE it here!! AMAZING authentic food!! Every single time!! The staff and owner are top notch! Not only is the food stellar but they teach you about the culture, the reason certain foods are around, how it is eaten, the culture, family. It is a beautiful unexpected experience. The teas are exquisite and unique . I struggle with writing a review because I want to keep it to myself so we always have a seat but that wouldn’t be fair to Fala Filo. Come expecting an experience. This is not fast food, it is homemade and worth your time. We will likely see you there if you come!

WHAT. A. GEM. If you’re like me and have driven past it with any ounce of curiosity, please do yourself a solid and stop by, it’s SO good. It’s exactly what you’d expect, authentic middle eastern cuisine, with the cozy/homey atmosphere to match. My husband and I came for lunch today. Simood was our server, AND cook! She was so lovely to talk to and you can tell that she pours her whole heart and soul into her business. She even painted most of the artwork on her walls! She deserves an endlessly full restaurant. One thing that most people might find a little jarring is the wait time for the food. We were warned that the dinner entrees will take 25-40 minutes to prepare, but that the lunch options would all be ready to serve within 5 minutes. We weren’t in a hurry at all and really wanted to see what this place was about, so we ordered off of the dinner menu. Our food was ready in about 15-20 minutes, which is your typical wait time at any restaurant, so there was ZERO reason for complaint there! We ordered the fries as an appetizer. They came out hot, fresh, and delicious! My husband ordered the Mansaf and was blown away. He is Greek, so he knows good lamb. So tender and flavorful. 10/10. I ordered the Kufta Kabab plate and was equally as pleased. Great portions and some of the best hummus I’ve ever had! We also treated ourselves to some Turkish coffee, and it’s probably our favorite Turkish coffee we’ve tasted compared to a few other middle eastern joints here in town. At the end we gladly tried some of the pastries Simood had made. We had them to-go since we were SO full, but they were a great afternoon snack for us! Overall, great experience and we can’t praise Simood enough! We’ll absolutely be back!

One of the best experiences ever. The food, the people, the building: all indescribable. They stayed open way past their closing time to accommodate our party, and were not only un-annoyed with us, they were delighted to have us. We tried so many different dishes and each one was the best thing that I have ever tasted. The mansaf dish was heavenly melted gold. The pita bread, hummus, akd rice were all so unbelievable perfect. Appetizer, entre, dessert, and drinks were all the absolute most decadent things on this Earth. The service was amazing; he told us his favorite dishes, how to eat them, the history of the food, and where it comes from. After we had eaten, he let us take a picture with him, and was so sweet about it. He gave his regards to all our relatives and shook our hands as we walked out. I reiterate, one of the best experiences ever, and a sin qua non of any stay in Colorado Springs.

This was so good. Heart breaking that they may have to close their doors because of a lack of customers. I hope we can come together and save this amazing place before it is gone forever.

We came in today and tried their: Appetizer Sampler, Dolma Mansaf, Maklubah, Combo Dish Baklaweh, Halwaet aljeben Ayran, Jallab, and Sharab ward The food is authentic, rich in flavor and feels home cooked! When you have the chance to taste foods sold in restaurants that taste and feel like home, why settle?! Highly recommend trying Fala-Filo. Wonderful service as well. Will happily be going again! Thank you!

Delicious food, but maybe a better experience as takeout. Pictured are the lamb plate and the curry plate, both delicious. The server gave us free samples of some of their drinks and the hibiscus drink is great, tastes like sweet black currant/and grape juice. Our waiter was friendly but was the only server so there was a lot of divided attention. We had the pita bread and hummus and they were the best we ever tasted. Everything is served on paper plates so I wouldn't go for a date here or expect a 5 star dining experience. The low point of the night was definitely desert, ordered the dish described as a sort of rice pudding and waited half an hour for it to be served to me in a styrofoam drink cup and tasting like scalding soap, couldn't eat it. Will definitely order more of their delicious food but probably won't dine in again.

We went there tonight for dinner and it was our first time having middle eastern food. It was delicious and so much of it! We ended up with plenty for lunch tomorrow. The service was amazing and he told us all about the various dishes and where they originated from. We will definitely be back and I recommend trying this place!
