I had a really good red duck curry and thai egg roll (with meat!). The wait is pretty long on lunch time, especially if you order a stir fry (like pad thai,Te pad sew, etc). So if you stick with the daily special its pretty quick and very savoury!! The red curry is creamy and not that spicy. The portions are huge, you will probably have some leftovers! Lunch was 8,50$ for 2 choices from the daily special, side of rice, thai egg roll and a drink.
When I showed up I thought it was a little pricey for the atmosphere and location. But when I got the chicken pad Thai it was awesome. That is my place! standby place.
Had the coconut soup- which I've always known as Tom kha soup but its different everywhere. I ordered it medium spicy because I was not sure how spicy it is starting out. It was fabulous! The portion was huge! Super clean and very friendly service also. Spring rolls weren't the best I've tasted, but also not the worst. Husband loved the pad Thai!
By far the best Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs. Me and my wife (who is Thai) have tried every Thai restaurant in town and none compares to her cooking... until we found Thai Guy. If you like Thai food, you won't be disappointed.
Quick & Delicious. Pick up orders take about ten minutes to get ready, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I noticed is that nothing was very spicy, but I attribute that to being located right outside of Peterson and likely having many customers with a more mild palate. That being said, they have all the right spices and sauces to heat it up, so make sure to order in some heat if you like it that way. I'll definitely be returning frequently.

Extremely clean inside with tasty food. Trying to get a quick bite on the way home from a meeting I went to with my wife, I called up Thai Guy because I knew they were on my way home. I didn't have a menu on me, so I just ordered something every Thai place is required to have, Pad Thai. I also asked if they had Egg Rolls and they did, so I ordered two (which I later found out I got 3?)
Upon entering, the place was empty of customers. This must be the norm after Peterson Air Force Base's North Gate closes, because I bet that a majority of their business comes from Airmen. However, the place was extremely spic and span, not a spec of food or paper anywhere. My food was ready on time as I paid the $10.69 bill, which was decent for the amount of food.
When I got home and began to dig in, I was happy with the pleasant amount of peanut taste. The green onions were pungent enough, but I began to unravel a very peculiar taste inside, which I quickly found out was from cooked red onions. I was able to look around this one bad choice of theirs to concentrate on the bean sprouts crunchiness and the curious mix of thin and thick rice noodles. It all came together well. The egg rolls were nothing spectacular, just your typical pork ones that surely came pre-made for asian restaurants. But at least I got 3 for the price of 2.
Thai guy has some interesting things (see a picture of their menu I added) and perhaps try it for yourself. Certainly not up to the caliber of Aharn Thai just yet, but it's coming along. Just depends on which side of town you're on when you get the craving for Thai.
Awesome. The food is great and the people are very friendly. The lunch specials are cooked to order and is also open for dinner. New menu items are soon to come!
Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. The portions are really good sizes. Dinners are $9.95
The Pad Thai wasn't spicy but the green curry had a good kick to it. The egg rolls were kind of average. Overall really good for the price!
Went in early March 2022. Pretty decent Thai food but not the friendliest of service (at east not the day I went). Got the Pad Thai with chicken and it was good. Was able to get not spicy. Seemed a little more expensive than I would’ve liked but I guess that’s the product of inflation and prices rising. Not sure yet if I’d go back.
Pretty good food, just be prepared to wait for a while if you're getting dinner. There's a fish tank in the back with one rather large fish so that was neat. I had green chicken curry, I would recommend it.
I ordered the coconut milk soup with chicken and it was pretty tasty it came with steamed rice! My boyfriend order the shrimp fried rice and said it was good too. Every place I go to that makes the coconut milk soup I make it point to try it.. The man that took our order was very nice! They also had this strawberry pineapple lemonade snapple which was pretty good.
Best Thai place in all of Colorado. And trust me, I've made it my goal in the last year to try all the Thai places I see in Colorado.
Came here kind of late tonight and even then, the food was super fresh and made to order unlike some of the other places around here. Not only that but the food tastes great. The man who took our order and made the food was also really sweet.
Pricing wise: really affordable and fair.
Serving wise: great portion sizes for the price.
Restaurant was also really clean and taken care of from the looks of it all.
10/10 would recommend
They've definitely ended my search for the best Thai restaurant in Colorado.

Also to add, I'm from the west coast and I was also born in Thailand. Their quality is equivalent to your average west coast Thai restaurant quality which is the first I've found so far here in Colorado. This will definitely be my new Thai food spot as long as I'm here.
Everything was great! My order was ready for pick up, and delicious! I got the nam tok and wished it had a bit more lime juice but the spice was perfect! The service and people were awesome!!
Pad Thai was delicious and made fresh. Customer service was perfect and staff was polite. Would absolutely come back and bring friends.
Quick, quiet, clean, comfortable, and always friendly. We go here fairly often and it's rarely busy. The drunken noodles are a solid five stars (just add a little spice to it) and lad na comes in at a four star rating. We'll be back!
SOOOOOO GOOD! Absolutely amazing food, super fresh ingredients, and amazing prices! This is definitely going to be a new work-night favorite!
The stir fry and the pad Thai are both FANTASTIC
Came here during a long road trip, exhausted and hungry for something that wasn’t chain fast food. This simple, unassuming restaurant in a strip mall has only bottled or canned drinks, but the food is fresh delicious and well priced. I had the chicken masalam and it was wonderful, I ate every bite. Portions are large for 1 person. Will absolutely stop by again the next time I am town.
We normally get the chicken massaman (curry), veggie stir fry and drunken noodles with tofu and they are consistently made amazingly.
Some people say the guy isn’t friendly, but I’m not sure what they want, he makes decent food and isn’t mean or anything. I actually appreciate his demeanor, he’s to the point. I know if you call to order for pick up, he doesn’t ask your name or any details, just says “ok got it” -click-. When you come in, you just say the food you ordered.
Anyways, we come here a couple times a month. Best Thai food we’ve had in this area!
Went a bit late in the day and the service was a bit slow, but the Thai Green Curry was wonderful! It was honestly some of the best I've had with good peppers, savory chicken and bamboo shoots. Had just enough kick even without ordering it hot and left me feeling very satisfied! Will definitely be going back!
Great price! Food was pretty good.
Fantastic taste, if you like curry this is the place to go the lady in the front desk is super nice. Love it! Highly recommend it.
Food was good, but my noodles were a bit overdone, and it had some interesting twists to Thai food I wasn't prepared for. It looks like they had prepped food for lunch specials, but we went in the evening and they prepared ours individually. But having a hole in the wall Thai place nearby is nice.
Excellent, authentic Thai food. The $10 lunch special is an outstanding deal. You get a great meal for the price. I recommend the Thai Chicken Ginger.
