Always a treat! Authentic decor and atmosphere, wonderful staff, great authentic German food, imported genuine German beer on draft. Lived in Germany for eight years–the Edelweiss transports the visitor to a gastatte in Munich.
This place is a gem. Everything about it is very authentic and the food is super delicious. The beer was spot on. It felt like I was in Germany, again.
The food was delicious but the service was amazing. Our sweet waitress offered to cut my food for me since I was holding a baby. We all loved everything we ordered. I hate this place isn’t in Texas but I will come back anytime we are in Colorado Springs!
I was thoroughly pleased with the food and the experience!! Was it exactly like a German Stube in the early 70's?? Nope....but close enough to be exactly what I craved!! The Rahmschnitzel was delicious, the beer was cold and authentic, and the ambience was typical German and delightful. I will go back! Again...and again...and again!! Schon under MIT gemuglichkeit!! 👍 👍 👍 😎

We ate here on our vacation for my husband's birthday. We had amazing service and the food was so good! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for delicious food at a great price.
This is the best German restaurant in town, maybe in the state. Amazing authentic food, perfect service, and an awesome beer selection...this is where you go when you want to be in food heaven.

Atmosphere was amazing during the day outside! Our server was very informative and patient, it was our first visit. The food was very good and the beer was cold. Will be back!
The food was great. Love the inside decor. The beautiful downstairs really looks like something from a better German Gasthaus,and the outside Biergarten is great.

Very nice restaurant. Eating here is as much an experience as it is getting a meal. Normally you need reservations. Since we're from out of town we didn't realize this. When we showed up they only had 1 table left which seated exactly the number in our party. Even without reservations they graciously seated us. Our sever was very prompt & knowledgeable about the menu options. Everything was clean and the food was very good. They have a very good selection of desert items. I quite enjoyed the experience here and the meal I had. I would definitely eat here again if im in the area. And I recommend this place to others. Just keep in mind they prefer reservations.
My last big meal before heading back to the east coast- and definitely the right place to go for! Edelweiss was a classic German restaurant with select menu options- but all sounding delicious! All of our meals were fantastic and the selection of cakes for dessert too! Service was perfect for the setting, and the restaurant had a beautiful outdoor dining area, I’d definitely recommend on a nice day. Reservations are recommended if you’re going anytime in the evening as the restaurant certainly fills up quick.

Our server was bilingual, which contributed to the beautiful German atmosphere. The food and gluwein were amazing. Really enjoyed the dessert too. And the place was decorated for the holidays! Very wonderful.
Edelweiss has been a staple in my family while I was growing up. My mom grew up in Germany and so she always loves to visit local German restaurants. The food here is delicious and the dining rooms are completely decorated with trinkets and art of Germany. This is definitely a great spot to enjoy a great meal with friends and family.
This is a great place to eat if you are wanting German food with German atmosphere. While sitting and waiting to be seated, we heard German music in the background. Then when we were taken into the area where we ate, there was a person dressed in lederhosen walking around playing an accordion and singing German songs. When the food was brought to us, it looked and tasted very good. Expect to pay a bit for your meal though, it can get to be a little on the pricey side
We had a very large party for a holiday gathering. The food was top notch, and the server did an incredible job taking care of us. They have a smokey bock beer which is hard to find in liquor stores which made my meal even more special.
We saw this place off I25 and we were passing through from NM on to Denver and decided to stop by. I’m a huge fan of German cuisine and really enjoyed this place. The portions were epic, the beer was delicious, all the food was very fresh, the staff were all super friendly, and the restaurant atmosphere was really pleasant. Everything we ate was amazing. My wife and I had a great time celebrating our 11 year anniversary here. Anytime we’re passing through CO Springs, we’ll definitely be stopping by for some awesome German food.

This was pretty good! Lots of different things on here which I liked. Loved trying all the sauces.
Bread & butter- this was alright the bread was s little hard and chewy and didn’t taste fresh.
Soup- sauerkraut & sausage soup. This was amazing!! I highly recommend, I would eat this again.

Edelweiss Platte-
Don’t recommend, I wish I would have gotten something else I didn’t really like anything on this plate. The veggies were undercooked and plain. Steak had a weird flavor and was chewy, everything else I kind of picked at, just missing lots of flavors. Other meats were dry.

Our waiter was so friendly and helpful! When you go, you need to ask for Dante this young man seriously knows how to take care of customers! The Edelweiss is an amazing restaurant! My food was so good, I was blown away! The portion was huge, and I could not eat at all! I had the KaseSpätzle. And the dessert was absolutely phenomenal! Mocha torte!!
Our server was excellent, funny and helpful with pronouncing the menu names. The food was amazing, you have a hearty bread and salad starter and then delicious and authentic entrees. Make sure to book in advance! This spot fills up fast!
