I'm from Ohio and was in the St. Louis area visiting and wanted to check out a local restaurant. Definitely glad I stumbled upon this one food and service was exceptional!!! I had the brisket nachos, it was delicious! Would definitely recommend checking it out if your in the area!

Went for a carry out order ,asked for mild sauce. Lady sat down a ketchup bottle an said mild,this is hot then walked off. The tamale was burnt. Fries were grease soaked

Bert's Chuck Wagon is an icon in the little city of Collinsville. It was located once where the now IL State Route 159 is laid. Once the township learned of the fate of their beloved Bert's it was relocated to the downtown strip on East Main. I try to stop there anytime I should pass through my old stomping grounds.
My better-half Carol suggested it as we were there. I of course said, "Heck yeah! " Well if you want the "All You Can Eat Buffet", you'd better be there by Monday night. The staff are friendly and helpful when taking your order. Carol chose her back-up "Taco Salad" & I the "Burrito Dinner", dinner's include the side of Re-fried Beans & Spanish Rice. All selection's are 'Americanized' version's of what you might order. With that in mind you'll enjoy a wonderful meal at a decent price. Enjoy!!!

This hometown treat is a easy grab it and go style chuckwagon. Nestled in Collinsville on Main street you can find American and Mexican foods. Always service with a smile. This place is also great to eat at, with cafeteria style seating and Coca-Cola signs to delight your eyes.
