I went with the jumbo pork sandwich with slaw and the hot sauce with double fries. Service was spot on and fast and the meal had that great homemade flavor and appeal that you crave from your very own backyard gathering with friends.

We love Captain John’s BBQ!! We go there at least once per week!! The staff is friendly and the food is YUMMY!! It’s the down home hot spot to go to where Everybody knows your Name and treats you like family!!!

The best barbecue I've ever had. I've had all the barbecue in Memphis. I lived in Texas for 30 yrs. Nothing there compares. I've moved back now so I'm excited to eat Captain John's again.

Captain John's has the best BBQ in Collierville and one of the best in the Memphis area! Got the picnic pack for Christmas Eve dinner and it was fantastic! Lots of meat, beans, and cole slaw. I've heard their burger is really good but I can't resist the BBQ so I haven't tried it.

I had the Friday Catfish dinner plate. It was great. I called ahead but still had to wait a while. But still the catfish was plentiful and tasted great. You get 2 sides with the dinner plate. I had slaw and fries. Sufficiently full. Good experience!

I went inside to place my order & was so disappointed. Workers with no face mask on, others with their face mask on under their chins. The lobby girl had hers on under her chin picked up a stack of dirty trays took them behind the counter & picked up the sweet tea pitcher and took it to the lobby with her contaminated hands. Smh. I use to loves this place. I walked out. Didn't need to eat after seeing all if that & a few other things.
