What a gem! Definitely great for dinner! The service was fantastic and friendly! It wasn't very crowded and it was nice to be able to have a quieter date night where we could sit and talk awhile without having to shout over the typical restaurant noise. The food was tasty. For prices we would have spent the same if we had gone to cafe eccell, napa flats, or amico nave. So not overpriced. It was $50 for two entrees and two delicious, gigantic glasses of wine. 😃They have gluten free options. The gf pizza was good. They didn't have gf pasta while I was there but they typically carry it. We will definitely be back!

Great pizza with crust that was tasty and flaky. The lasagna was great as well plus we had a large portion of the dining room to ourselves. We went on our anniversary because 25+ years ago this was one of our first dates. So as we have aged, the restaurant has as well. The building and decor could use a touch up.

As much as I hate to write this, this was among the worst dining experiences I've ever experienced. I've been dining at Cenare since 2003 and have always been really pleased with their authentic Italian cuisine. I'm not sure if there has been a management or ownership change, but the quality of the food has suffered drastically. The service was even worse than the food. Our "server" was by far the most inattentive server that I've ever experienced. It's not like the restaurant was busy, I counted and about 7 or 8 of the 20 or so tables were occupied. We had 2 other servers refill our drinks throughout the meal because he had once again disappeared.. I'm not sure when he put our order in, but there were three groups of people that arrived between 15 and 30 minutes after we ordered and they got their bread, appetizers, salads and meals before we even got our salads.(they had a different server) As the other three tables either started getting their desserts or paying for their meals and leaving my wife walked over and inquired about our food and miraculously our food came out 5 minutes later. The food was plated haphazardly and the pasta was undercooked to the point of being crunchy. I like al dente pasta, but this was just rushed and undercooked. Never again!!

Seriously amazing restaurant. The food was great; fresh bread made daily, awesome entrees, amazing tiramisu. The wait staff are helpful and friendly, and the owner walks around and genuinely cares about your experience. They also have a great selection of wines as well. And all at a great price. If you want Italian, this is the place to go.

Went on Valentine's day...big mistake. They are completely understaffed (too bad no one could predict Valentine's day might be busy). The food is good, but nothing special. It's cheaper than most fine dinning, but it shows. From the 80 year old basically singing karaoke love songs to the decorations and water with no lemon, the feeling you get is old fashioned not traditional Italian.
