Large portions, tons of options, friendly staff, and a nice seating area with a great view. The French dip, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, turkey and stuffing, and Denver omelet were all good, but the pancakes were awesome.
Great prices decent food. Big portions. Had the ruben and potato cheese soup. Had many different dessert options got the cheese cake. I would probably try the carrot cake next time. Seems like this is a great breakfast spot. Many options.
The food was pretty good that I had but my husband's steak was swimming in brown water and super fatty plus the waitress forgot his salad, which he didn't receive til we got the check so it never got eaten (forgotten fridge death). The service was okay overall but the restaurant could use a deep cleaning and dusting. I think if they did update the dining room etc more people would return, I certainly would.
Wonderful family restaurant ! Our waitress Ruthie was very kind and on point! The portions are large and very fast service! They serve breakfast all day so kids really enjoyed that! The turkey reuben was amazing and my husband loved his steak dinner!
We stopped in for our first visit and were delighted. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty, the prices were more than reasonable, and our server, Libya, was absolutely fantastic. Best server we have had in years! We were very impressed with our whole experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. Food was good as was service. Plenty of seating and natural light inside. Only issue was the seating booth. Very old booths that need replacing. The back of the booth was very broken. Couldn't lean against the back without moving it 3-4 inches into the next booth. Other than that, the dining experience was very good.
First time hearing and eating at this place. The waitress was very good and attentive. She was also very sweet to my children and listened to them when they were talking. The top sirloin was delicious!
This restaurant has a huge menu. I had the pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad. The meat was melt in your mouth perfection, and the potatoes were great. I went with a friend who said all of their dishes were great.

Breakfast was great and definitely try the butterscotch pancakes along with the Bums Breakfast. Biscuits and gravy was a winner too!

Stopped in this morning with the family for breakfast. Wasnt very busy but we must have been right on the cusp of the morning rush because it filled up very quickly and its a very large restuarant. Food was good, service was hood, staff was friendly and polite. If I had any complaint it would be that it took nearly 45 minutes to get our order, our waitress apologized and it wasnt that big of a deal. Give the ColdwaterGarden Family Restaurant a visit and dont forget to tip your waitstaff for a job well done.
My salad didn't come with cucumbers or tomatoes and I had to ask for them after the fact. Tomatoes were listed in the menu for the salad, and I had asked the waitress to substitute cucumbers for the green peppers and she said they could do this, but the only veggies that it was originally served with was lettuce. It was resolved when I let the waitress know, but still, I didn't understand how or why it was served without the veggies in the first place.
Wonderful fresh and friendly. Fluffy biscuits, exquisite gravy. Eggs straight from the farm.
