The Roving Feast

Jess and her team catered our wedding in August 2021 at Sunset Vistas in Alburgh, VT. As a couple of self-proclaimed foodies planning a wedding from out-of-state, we were concerned that it may be difficult to find a caterer using flavors and ingredients in a unique way that we love. This concern floated away when we found The Roving Feast. Jess did a private pre-wedding tasting at our family’s home to help us choose our dishes. On the day of our wedding, she and her team set up early and went to town making sure everything was taken care of for our cocktail hour and reception, including our bar (it was so convienent to have the same caterer for food and drinks!). We were able to customize our bar selections to create a Vermont-based menu including Citizen Cider and Hermit Thrush. From the fresh local ingredients to the delicious dishes and excellent service, we couldn’t have asked for a better catering team!

Jess & her team served the most delicious meal for myself & my family during our small, quaint wedding in Fairfax, VT. The planning and menu selection process was a breeze (although it was difficult to choose between all of the delicious options). Jess was happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, and was very accommodating for timeline and small adjustments in logistics from me. The food was absolutely delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and Jess & her team seamlessly managed the logistics around setting up, serving & cleaning up the meal. I would 100% recommend The Roving Feast to everyone!! They're truly the best.

Jess and her team recently catered our parent's anniversary party. They did an amazing job from beginning to end. Everything was presented beautifully. They provided an appetizer spread, a fun non alcoholic drink bar for the kids, and then a bountiful and gorgeous buffet dinner. Everyone raved about the food. Jess was so easy to work with- she took care of all the details and left me with nothing to worry about except having fun with our family and friends (not an easy thing to do as I always sweat the small stuff!). We will definitely be seeking out their services again!

The Roving Feast is sure to please! Jess and her team prepared such incredible food including chicken, steak, and mixed veggies for our mid-day August wedding. The meat was tender, the veggies well cooked, and everything was so flavorful! Our families and friends loved the food - many of them are picky eaters and yet they had only the most complimentary things to say! My husband and I not only loved them the day of, but the week’s worth of leftovers too!! Thank you again Jess and team of The Roving Feast!

We worked with Jess and her staff at the Roving Feast for our wedding catering, and they knocked it out of the park! From our initial conversations to regular correspondence via phone and e-mail as we got closer to the date, Jess was incredibly polite, thorough, and eager to help. She came up with a very impressive menu that fit our wedding budget and delighted our guests – and prior to our wedding she came over to our apartment and gave us a private tasting -- which was so fun! The food was delicious (people are still raving about it, a month later), made with local, high-quality Vermont ingredients, and the serving staff couldn’t have been more friendly! We didn’t have to worry about a thing the night of our wedding – Jess had every detail handled. The cherry on top was that she was totally open to helping us parse and serve our wedding ‘cake’ – which was a giant tower of different Vermont cheeses – she didn’t bat an eye and was all for it, which was when we knew she’d be the perfect fit for us quirky Vermonters. My husband and I are still daydreaming about her home-made mushroom gnocchi – and might need to find a way to hire her to make it for us again!! We absolutely loved working with Jess and highly recommend The Roving Feast for any and all wedding/event catering needs.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jess and The Roving Feast. They catered my 65 person baby shower and did an amazing job. Everything was prepared perfectly, their presentation was great and the service was amazing. We went with a Boho Fiesta theme (mexican food is my absolute favorite) and they provided a build your own taco bar. It sounds so simple, but this was no ordinary taco bar! So many fun toppings, different salsas and sauces. One of the filling options was the beef barbacoa (i think that was the name of it) and it was to die for! I could eat that meal everyday. I would highly recommend them!
