Family of SEVEN ate for 35.00 real chicken breast sandwich with iceberg lettuce, lobster bisque soup was great. Chicken finger dinner came with fries and coleslaw all good, son had grilled hot dogs! I’ll definitely be back! Not many places a family of 7 can eat for real great food!
Excellent service and the best whole belly clam platter around. Love it there
Harry's has always made great, fresh burgers on a flat top grill with awesome caramelization on their burgers. They have stepped up their game and added some new items to their menu. So impressed for a roadside burger stand right out of the 1950's!
It was my first time there and the burger was great. Want to try the lobster roll hopefully before they close for the season. One of the regulars told me that I need to try the lobster bisque soup.
No regrets, best burger joint of the area. 100% recommended!
Every time I come back home to Connecticut Harry’s is in the top of my list!!!😎😎😎😎😎
Best chili cheese fries. Love this place. Sitting outside on a beautiful summer evening at their many picnic tables. Definitely check it out. Fresh burgers 🍔 too! 👍🏻
Always a great stop! Good food and ice cream! Friendly staff too!
I've been coming here since I was a kid and even though I've since moved away to a different state, every time I'm home to visit family, I make a point to stop in. Love the food, the atmosphere, and the service.
Always great food and great service. Always met some nice people down there too. Harry's is worth the trip!
Great food and great service, sometimes a bit crowded but worth the wait
Great burgers. Awesome burgers and red hots. Fries and rings delish. Don't forget the ice cream.
Go here. Just go here. It is the classic summer house and you really can't go wrong. Get the fries no matter what else.
Try have really good hamburgers and French fries. A great spot for a family to eat!
Best Burger in the World!. Harry's Place is true Americana! They are a national landmark and have been around for generations. I am the 3rd generation from my family to eat there and this place holds many great memories for me. It never disappoints, unless they are closed. I have turned on many people to this place and we all agree it is great. The staff is so friendly and the burgers are the best. I can't understand the negative review from Marc, unless he is a competitor and it is sour grapes and jealousy on his part. I would suggest this place to anyone. You get great food for not much more than those drive-thru places in any town!
Maybe the best burger in CT! Get it with fried onions on top and a side of fries or onion rings and you have yourself a perfect slice of American road food perfection.
This is the best place to get a Burger. I love it 100% only a little expensive. So worth though
Great place when there open, a little expensive but completly worth it. Especially cheese fries and a burger
Awesome roadside food. Just what you'd expect from a place doing business for over 100 years. A must for the roadside foodie fans.
If you want an old-school style burger then definitely you should try this place. All ingredients were fresh. We had tried the chicken sandwiches and a veggie burgers and both were great however we felt burger bun can be better. They have a good parking spot behind the store and they have enough sitting area but its open area. Just keep in mind this store is open from March to October (the last day is 10th October for this year)
I love checking out old school hot dog and burger places harry's was good only complaints i wish the burgers were cooked to order temp wise med med rare well done ect and that they seasoned the burger even if just salt n pepper and toasted the bun i would call them a slidder more so then a burger the dogs were yummy and wish they used anything but crinkle fries and made them nice and extra crispy to hold up to the cheese sauce otherwise very good i will be back for sure
First time coming to Harry’s tonight. Can tell it’s a staple in the community and must visit. I got the fish and chips dinner, my significant other got just a cheeseburger. I was hoping that they would have a cheeseburger or hot dog meal that would come with fries but you could only buy those separately.
Fish and chips were great. Fish tasted great and had a nice crisp while still maintaining moisture in the actually fish. Fries could be a little better but a great portion.
Cheeseburger was good size for the price. They also had milkshakes which were great.
Overall, think it’s a great spot to bring the family or a casual date. Think some east improvements would be better fries and more combo meal options which would make this a 5. Great staff working there and had a great old time feel.
Very cute place to get burgers and hot dogs. My husband and I took our nephews and we all absolutely loved it. The portions were a bit smaller than I'd thought they'd be which was disappointing for the price. But everything tasted great! There are a lot of picnic benches and tables and it's easy to find parking.
Great burger, perfectly cooked. Crispy onion rings. Nice portion size. My first visit there.
Best burger I’ve had since I moved to Ct two years ago.
Such great food! Service was friendly and helpful. Gatta stop by for an ice cream on a hot day. Parking can be limited but lots of places to sit.
Great food, prepared fast, with friendly service! This place has mastered the art of the deep fry and the clam strips, onion rings, fries, mac bites, and buffalo cauliflower are all top-notch. Do yourself a favor and get fried onions (and peppers and mushrooms) on your burger, too. Unexpectedly, the hot lobster roll is also a star here: buttery enough and they don't skimp on the meat. Loved the milkshakes, too. The ambience is awesome, and it feels like everyone's at a big summer barbecue. Bring kids, friends, cash (no credit cards), antacids, and an appetite--you won't regret it.
My husband and I went in the early evening to try the delicious burgers that have come highly recommended. Our wait was short and the service was delightful! The burgers to bun ratio was perfect and you can add all the condiments that you'd like. The menu is vast in that it offers burgers, fish, seafood as well as milkshakes and deserts. Highly recommend, it's worth the drive and your dollars!
seriously nothing better than an old school spot still doing things right. you can see in the photo how much drip these burgers have and even if it came out a little well done i bet it would still be pretty bomb. the fries were super crispy. the coleslaw was pretty traditional for a mayonnaise version and went well with the fried fish sandwich. the portions aren't huge so don't be shy with doubling down on sandwiches or getting enough so you can share and try everything. the staff are super sweet and generally help you with anything you might wonder about the menu
Nice old fashioned burger place. They only accept cash. There is an ATM at the restaurant. Only outdoor seating. Service was relatively fast, the burger tasted good. Definitely to be considered for lunch/ dinner.
This Drive-In is one of our new favorite places. Wish it was closer. Burgers are fantastic and my wife's Lobster Roll was Loaded with lobster. The place was packed, but lines moved quick with multiple windows. They serve a lot of burgers and they all looked the same... delicious. They do it right. I ordered the double bacon stacker with hot cherry peppers. I finished it, but barely. No room for desert!

This is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat on a warm summer night. Decent prices, service was fast and friendly, got our order in just about ten minutes, and the food was incredible.
Ordered the stacker bacon cheese burger and chili along with a cookie dough milkshake. Everything we got was cooked perfectly and delicious. The hand pressed burgers are the highlight of our dinner here, coming out with plenty of juiciness and flavor.
If you're local to the area or just on a road trip like we were, make this a stop on your way and you won't be disappointed.

Harry's Place took me back in time. We visited in mid-October on a trip to the East Coast, and thankfully, Harry's was still open for the season. I had the most amazing burger, and my mom loved the clam chowder. It's a great place for a classic meal.
My burger and fries were amazing! Definitely worth the trip if you're in the area. My brother's chicken sandwich was gigantic!
