Review Inishmor Pub - Colchester

Food of CT
We visited Ireland this summer and were curious to see what CT had to offer for Irish pub experiences. The Inishmor has received a lot of recognition, so we made a visit on our way home from one of the casinos. We have to say that the food even exceeded our expectations! I’m usually very particular about my corned beef because my mom makes such a good homemade one that I’m often disappointed elsewhere, but this one was fantastic and the best one I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The Mac and cheese and wings also really stood out, and we had never had bangers and mash before but these were incredible! Excellent service and loved the vibe. We will absolutely be back!!

Took a lunch trip, other restaurant was booked so we ended up here because I had heard good things about it. Tasted good things about it shortly after. Portions were nice and big, menu wasn't too big but nice diversity in choices. Definitely going back to try more dishes. The sweet potato fries were hilariously huge, burgers tasty and cooked accurately to order. Pretzels with beer cheese app was excellent. Corned beef and bangers were classically done. Whole new experience of Irish Soda bread here which I was very impressed with.

The portions are generous and the food is as close to the real thing you can get here in the states. We had the fish n chips, bangers and mash, and wee burgers for the kids. Great local beets available as well.

Yum! Bloody Mary was outstanding! Thank you 10/1, 3pm bartender!! Burger and Cajun chicken sandwiches were incredible. Locally sourced meat was delicious. Tender and packed w flavor. Chicken tenders w the Cajun dry rub is a must. Staff were all great and loved the atmosphere/vibe. Thanks for a super Sunday meal!

Really good food in a nice pub atmosphere. We started with Irish Fairy Dust(slightly hot with a hint of sweet) dry rub wings and they were a hit. Four different entrees at our table and they were all good.

Second visit and food was good both times. Waitress had a heavy crowd, service from her and kitchen server were very friendly. Visited to go shop 2 doors down and bought 2 jars of candied jalapeños which were part of appetizer

Fantastic food! Seriously one of the best Reuben’s ever! Corned beef was obviously cooked properly- slow and low and cooked to perfection! Mike the bartender had wonderful suggestions. Curry fries were delicious!! Cheap, good drinks, fun atmosphere, and excellent food. What more can you ask for? In a small town like Colchester it’s truly a hidden gem. Definitely will be back and want to try everything on the menu! Worth the drive!!

Great Signature Drink. The Orange Manhattan with Hedonism Scotch was perfect for a 90 degree day. The pub is very popular with the locals. No foodie today, however the menu looks attractive. Huge craft draft beer selection. Nice ambiance. Tons of parking out back.

I called bc I was sick and wanted to get soup to take home. I was told it was a daily special and daily specials were not available for takeout. Food has always been good when I have dined in, but I was very disappointed.

Had a great lunch with friends. Not too crowded or loud. Food was good and so was the service.

We love coming here! Cozy fun environment, clean, excellent food and staff. The drink selection is fantastic and they even have board games so if you're just wanting a fun night out with friends this is the place to go!

Great lil local spot. Drinks and food were good. Definitely recommend adding a side of stake with the cucumber salad. And Curry chips as a side.

Delicious food, great service, definitely try the "Counterweight Headway IPA, CT" if you like beer, it's AMAZING... The best corned beef and cabbage I've had state side, it's served with cabbage, carrots (skin on! yum!) & taters and in a light yummy broth with a piece of grilled soda bread. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely return.

Incredible food with a great atmosphere. The portion sizes are huge! The bangers and mash was enough for two meals, and then I also got Irish fairy Dust wings to go. The deviled eggs and curry fries were excellent too. Would recommend, even if it's a bit of a drive for you.

This place never disappoints. I've had the best Monte Cristo, Reuben, sweet potato fries, chicken tenders (and Bleu cheese dressing) that I have EVER had here. They have great selections of beer on tap. Even during the busiest of times, their service is great. Can't recommend enough.
