Apollo Seafood

The fish and chips were pretty decent, i think the problem was the fish being too soft, and how it doesn’t have that much salt and pepper. The fish batter was softer than the chips, but it tasted fine. The salmon fish was amazing, the only minor complaint is not having enough salt, but besides that it was just great. For only $21, it taste like something twice it’s worth. The fish and chips were $18 which was decent. I would totally recommend the salmon, absolutely delicious

Molto bene🤌 As an avid King George Whiting enjoyer, I have been travelling the coast in search of perfection. Today... my search has ended. Ahh... My heart skips a beat whenever I reminisce of that once in a life-changing experience. That fillet of fish was so fresh, it was as if Poseidon himself blessed it. Each delicious morsel was a slap from the Little Mermaid, that incomprehensible flavour that can only be achieved at Apollo Seafoods is a force to be reckoned with. To top it off, the owner, Sensei Savvas Perisanidis, had exemplary customer service. He is in fact, Poseidon in my eyes.

My family and I have been long time customers of Apollo Seafoods. I always look forward to my Fish n Chips. They always provide excellent service, even in busy periods. Sam and Nicole go the extra mile if you have a special order request. We have never had a bad meal from them and that is why we always go back to them. They have the freshest and best Fish n Chips in Colac. Very happy to recommend their food at any time. Thank you Sam and Nicole.

Really nice fish and chip shop. Very friendly staff. Ordered flake, spring roll and one potato cake. In addition to what I ordered, I was provided an extra potato cake and a hand full of chips free. I love getting that little bit extra. There used to be a fish and chip shop down here at Ocean Grove that always threw in a handful of chips. Always made you feel special. Well done. Flake was well cooked and nice and moist, not dry. Spring roll was cooked to perfection and home made potato cakes, can’t beat that. And for any vegan/vegetarians out there, they had Beyond Meat Burgers, which are magnificent. Up until now, i hadn’t found any shops that sold them. Thoroughly recommend this fish and chip shop, well done.

Seriously 1 of the top 5 scrumptious steak sandwiches with the lot that I've ever eaten. Nicole does an absolutely amazing job on the grill! She is just awesome & always willing to please....you can see/taste her passion for creating great food. BEST steak sandwiches with the lot in Colac. These are NOTHING like the tasteless unlovingly slapped together processed fast foods options such as McDonald's or Hungry Jack's. Good quality, fresh & tasty ingredients....very generous portions. The steak is 200gram porterhouse....it's thick & juicy. Very messy, juicy & drippy to eat....but that's what makes it even more YUMMY! Their bacon is very tasty & they are definitely not skimpy with it....so delicious...afterall EVERYTHING is better with bacon! NOT like paying $2 for bacon at McDonald's or Hungry Jack's & getting 1 very thinly sliced overpriced piece of tough bacon that's no bigger than a credit card. I also highly recommend their crumbed fish. Only fish & chip shop in Colac that does crumbed fish.....crispy crunchy crumbs outside with beautiful tender tasty fresh fish inside....generous sized portions as well. Their burgers with the lot & chicken schnitzel rolls with the lot are also very moreish. I haven't tried their souvlakis yet....but I'm sure that they will be absolutely delish as well. I've also been eyeing off their lamb & chicken mixed grill pack for 2....I reckon it would be super tasty....maybe add a steak, bacon & eggs to it. Their gravy is amazing too....so yummy on their hot crispy chips with chicken salt....takes the humble chip butty to a whole new level. I reckon their gravy recipe must be a long standing highly guarded family secret. You all do an awesome job....keep it up!

Best fish and chips I have ever had!..... fresh fish prepared and cooked to order...Generous servings, succulent fish, perfect batter - not too thick or oily. After 25 years in business this place has the formula just right, and take pride in their quality....delivered with cheery obliging service Highly recommended
