Satay Bistro

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! Our waiter Cody was super nice and attentive, great atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! The bread they bring out to the table is literally the best bread I’ve ever had in my life, no joke! Drinks are delicious, entrees delicious; we stuffed our faces and left very full and happy! Thank you for a great evening out! Highly recommend this place, it was a little pricey, but oh so worth it!

The buttered bread with dill was absolutely delightful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the baked brie (good to split for 2 or 4 people). The bistro steak was flavorful and paired beautifully with cranberries and mushroom risotto. Additionally, the sea bass was perfectly cooked - moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The goat cheese complemented it perfectly. The ambiance and touches (including the bathroom) were incredible. This is a new favorite for us!

Well worth the price! I moved to Coeur d'Alene a few months ago from Western Washington where seafood was our specialty. I can say that Satay easily blew every restaurant I've ever been to out of the water. Their service is impeccable, food delectable, and overall experience remarkable. 10/10 recommend.

We went as three couples and only one couple had eaten here before. Everything about the experience made it easy for us to want to go back again. The appetizers (which we all shared) were amazing, from the Brie, to the pork bellies and mushroom spoons and more. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, and the lamb I had was perfectly cooked.

This place is a diamond in the ruff. My husband and I had the best experience. The whole restaurant was beautifully decorated and sets a great romantic spot. The staff was all extremely polite and very outgoing. I was personally not a fan of how close the tables were to others. We had asked to be moved which they did even with how busy they were. The food combinations were not something I would normally pick but it was amazing together. Wish there portion sizes were a little bigger although we will definitely go back again.

Our server was informative, knowledgeable, and so personable. Everything she recommended was perfect. There were so many flavors in each dish and they all melded together beautifully. The lobster and sea bass wonton and the Brie appetizers were unique and delicious. We had the special of the evening. The steak was exactly as ordered, tender - medium and medium rare. The desserts were also different from your standard fare and homemade. We highly recommend this restaurant. The ambience, staff, and food are top notch.
