Everything was amazing. The food was phenomenal. The pulled pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was moist and juicy and the seasonings accented the meat. The jalapeno sour cream gave it the perfect amount of kick - just enough to get your mouth salivating but warm enough you thought oh yeah there it is. Truly a fantastic culmination of ingredients. There was plenty to share, as my husband and I shared. I can honestly say I am stuffed.
Then, then there was the bacon. Meaty, long, perfectly cooked, not crunchy not limp and undercooked, and awesomely seasoned with a huckleberry glaze. There was definitely enough bacon to share (and really who wants to share bacon???) And we even brought home 2 slices. I know what I'm having for breakfast.
So, not only is the food amazing, but so are the people working there and the atmosphere.
If you haven't gone to Daft Badger, you are most definitely missing out. We don't drink, so I can't say how their beer is, but the water and lemon is fantastic �. And I can honestly say, if they put this much care and quality into their food, their beer has to be fabulous too.
Been there several times for the bacon 🥓 and beer🍺, but tried the nachos for the first time yesterday. An obscenely large mountain of chips, cheese, pulled pork, sliced jalapeños, and shredded red cabbage (I think that’s what it was), and a special dipping sauce; outrageously good! 5 of us munched on that heap of goodness for quite awhile and couldn’t finish. Try the nachos, but bring a crowd!😋
My family and I stumbled upon this brewery after a day at Silverwood and it was a great find! The food, beer and atmosphere were all on point! My 8 and 4 year old devoured their Mac and cheese and BLT. My wife and I enjoyed the smoked turkey sand which and beers.
Daft Badger was founded on a love of great beer and food... and they offer wine, also. The people who own and run it are great, local people. If you haven’t been, it’s worth a stop. Their parties are a blast, too!
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! Stopped while traveling from Washington to Illinois, couldn't have been happier with our choice for dinner. Very child-friendly, without being a kid's place. Staff was very kind and friendly
This place is a regional treasure. The beer, the staff? Exemplary. The food? Will become some of your favorite things. The combination? A perfect harmonious, symphony.

What a great place! Just passing through town and googled "nearby breweries" and there we landed. Thought I was lost for a minute as it seems to be in the middle of a neighborhood, until you pull in. Great beer, cool atmosphere, and the best pulled pork nachos ever! Highly recommend.
Awsome atmosphere. Great food and beer. The smoked bacon is the bomb. Very great beer. Love the blood orange IPA.

I couldn't agree more with the census great beer great people great atmosphere and enjoyed myself every time I've ever been there and awesome food fyi be careful if you drink two growlers of that Badgers Bounty though so good but a little rough in the morning lol

I was sold at glass full of candy bacon! If you find yourselves in CDA looking for a good place to eat and grab a drink give Daft Badger a try and you won't regret it. We got the Gyro with Caesar salad and small nacho. Both where really good and came out so fast it was almost like they already knew what we were going to order. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Did I forget to mention glass full of bacon!

I got the pulled pork tacos and beer cheese Mac and a huckleberry cider and water, come hungry cause you will definitely need it, food was excellent and the huckleberry glazed bacon app is delicious……. This is definitely a spot if your in that area, atmosphere is llllaaaiiiiddddd back and good music and not to loud…….. ILL DEFINITELY BE BACK IN THE SUMMER, Hopefully they will have cornhole!!!
The pull pork sandwich and the blood orange IPA were a pair made in heaven for me on a wet Saturday afternoon as my friends and I enjoy a pitstop at Daft Badger for lunch before a hike.
Make sure to add the mac n' cheese as a side if yoi have an appetite because this elevated classic is smoky and rich.
We enjoy the outdoor seating with ceiling heaters providing sufficient warmth. You can also dine indoor. And if you are not eating a meal, pair your favorite beer with an order of their savory and sweet bacon appetitizer!
A pretty good place to eat and have a drink. Great if you want to try something new. Its in a residential area so it is a little more difficult to find. Definitely give it a shot. If you order anything involving cheese, like pasta or nachos they will absolutely burn the cr*p out of it. But honestly if you're down for that go ahead and give it a try. It's the only thing holding them back from 5 stars in my opinion.
Stellar service, food and most importantly, beer. I recently got braces and the chefy accommodated me when I asked for the smoked turkey sandwich to be cut up. He brought it out himself and asked if it was cut up enough. He was even careful enough to make it pretty in the bowl.
Love this place, the humans inside it and most importantly, the beer.

Excellent beers, might I suggest the Bourbon Stout if you're into dark beers, and their food is absolutely amazing. About the only thing more amazing is the staff. Very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. I found my new hangout place!

Very good beers and delicious food. Great ambiance in a garden setting tucked back on a residential street (yes, your GPS is guiding you correctly). Pleasant and attentive service.
The nachos are massive. We ordered the 1/4 portion (personal size - not even sure it’s on the menu) and two of us couldn’t finish it. We took our entire entree to go (it was still delicious the next day). Dog friendly
