THE BEST! I've lived in Margate 35 years and tried ALL the pizza places nearby. This is the first time I tried Johnny Pies and this is THE BEST PIZZA, WINGS, KNOTS I've ever had. I placed the order online on a Wednesday at 3:03pm. Order delivered at 3:36pm. Everything was so hot I couldn't touch it. Salad was fresh too. Definitely my go-to for pizza now. Thanks!
Stopped by for a Veggie Pizza to go. First of all, the staff is teriffic, very cordial and accommodating. The pie was unanimously delicious. Nice crust, tasty sauce and nicely populated with veggies. I asked that the olives be omitted, so they added some additional mushrooms & onion. After reading several good reviews about this place, I will have to come back to try other menu items. Everything being prepared and served while I was there looked delicious.
I was recommended this place from a friend and since I was in the area I decided to stop by. Walking into this place you just know the food is going to be good and I was not disappointed! My calzone and my friend's pizza were both delicious. I was also told the wings were good. I didn't get this time but I will definitely be going back!
Absolutely love this spot. Got takeout from here a few times already and we have never been left disappointed. From the wide variety of pies available to their amazing starters, everything about Johnny Pies in Coconut Creek is amazing. The food always comes delivered with great presentation, efficient timing, and a good amount of side sauces. When it comes to pies, I'd highly recommend the Grandma Pizza, Meat Lovers Pizza, and the Vodka Pizza. If you got room for some appetizers as well, I'd highly recommend their Garlic Knots w/ extra garlic and boneless lemon pepper wings. I'm looking forward to trying to dine in at Johnny Pies as I'm assuming it's as stellar, if not better, than the take out experience. I highly recommend Johnny Pues if you're in the area and have a deep craving for some pizza.
Order delivery and the food was really good. It’s nice to get New York style pizza in Florida. The wings were the bomb! Will definitely be ordering from here again.

OMG! FUHGETABOUTIT! Today was my first time trying this place. Someone had mentioned to me in passing as I am from Brooklyn NY and always saying can't find a good NY Pizzeria here on South FL..well as I am still trying to catch my breath and recover from almost passing out I can tell you this is now my number one place! I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and saw not ONLY Rice Balls but my favorite besides Pizza in NY..A CHICKEN ROLL!!! I knew of only one other place that knew what a Chicken Roll was and made them and they closed. But at any rate as soon as I saw that and asked if it was indeed a Chicken Roll I ordered it and waited in anticipation for it to come out of the oven..and WOW!! My prayers have been answered..I now found a real NY Pizzeria and that is also evident in the Cheese they use..GRANDE cheese is the best cheese and only cheese a Pizzeria should be using. So they use the best ingredients too. I will now be frequenting this Pizzeria as it will be my number one place to go and anxious to try many other items that I am sure will be amazing! This place is amazing!
I was nearby and looking for a good restaurant. Family member was craving pizza!
This was the closest..
And I will be honest… my family member said that is a hole in the wall restaurant!
We looked for others and nothing was close by. I said, “some of the best pizza places are small shops like this!”
So, I went in.
I ordered the Johnny’s works, a soda, 12 wings, a slice of cheese pizza, sautéed broccoli, and spaghetti with Alfredo sauce for the little one.
Everything was perfect!
Even the soda was ice cold.
I had not one complaint (which is rare since many years ago my husband was a chef and I was in fine dining!)
And then comes the customer service!
Wow!
Great, great attitudes from ALL staff!!
In fact, (in South Florida), none like I have seen.
No, it is not a FANCY restaurant or fine dining.
But, it is a cute, CLEAN, small pizzeria!
I am so impressed that we can’t wait to go back!
In addition to everything that they provided, this was during the three days of rain and flooding that we had!
I asked for help (because I felt I had no choice)!
And said! “Could you hold my two year old while I run all of this food and her bag to the car! I will come right back and grab her!”
It was raining so heavily that day!
The young lady was so accommodating!
She took Bella, went to the table to clear the two plates, and I ran to the car!
I came back….
The little one was with her behind the counter… in her arms, and while she took an order over the phone… and she had a garlic knot in her hands…(which kept her busy the whole ride home!)
And I was highly impressed!
I only wished I had my camera on me, as I would have loved to have saved that photo! (But it was in the car!)

If you're looking for authentic New York style thin crust pizza then this is the place to go! Pizza maker Harry is second-to-none..."Best" N.Y. pizza I've had in Florida!!! Other menu items are also tasty and generous portions! Five Star service by Julianna who is both friendly & efficient! Owner Dennis is hands-on in the kitchen, but always finds time to say hello. Newcomer Amy also very friendly and seems to be a nice addition to the staff! Overall 5 stars for food & service!!! I highly recommend!!!
Extra sauce (well seasoned) and well done - The best Tomato and Basil pizza I've had in South Florida.
You may not find Johnny here but you will find Dennis the owner and a great staff turning out delicious food. Pictured is a non menu item they cooked up for me since im on a diet. Its a modified peppers and egg sub without the bread and added sausage, onions, and cheese. They are very accommodating and reasonable when ordering off menu. Food and service is always a 10. Thanks guys!!!
Was in the area and found this gem. Excellent "NY style" (or Jersey boardwalk) pizza and the folks that work there were great. We had a large plain and it was very close to the pizza we get when we visit up North. Nice thin crust, but not so thin that it's crunchy. A good sauce that is not sweet and plenty of good stringy cheese. Toughest part was having the patience to let it cool enough so I wouldn't burn the roof of my mouth (I didn't! LOL) Don't go there expecting elegance - it's a pizza place and the place feels like you're visiting NY neighborhood joint! Well done guys!
Great Hoagie! Buttered Toasted bread, cold toppings. sliced fresh in front of you. Huge too!
A neighbor friend wanted to order some pizza with a few others as we chilled on the patio.
She said the pizza was thin crust which we all like as that's what we grew up with.
We placed the order and got the pizza delivery.
The price was a little less than some of the local pizza. We tipped the driver and dug right in. The pizza was very good, sauce was nice and had some spice, very good cheese blend with a buttery kinda linger.
We all enjoyed the pizza as well as our adult beverages to wash it down.
The crust was a little floppy but I'm thinking the time in box to get to us.
We are going to definitely go back and try it straight from oven to compare but I have to give them a two thumbs up for the sauce and cheese blend..
I love Johnny Pies! I’m a native New Yorker, and when I come in here on Friday night to pick up, I feel like I’m back home.
Pizza is fresh and made to order if you go by the pie. The staff is professional, even when things get busy. I don’t go anywhere else for pizza!!

What a great experience on this little New York pizza style. You definitely feel like you’re in New York. Pies are incredible delicious and toppings are ridiculously creative. It’s worth a visit. 5 stars for you guys!

We ordered from Johnny's to try a different pizza place in the area. We used the Slice app to order a 20" cheese pizza and 6 garlic knots. We were quoted 35-50 minutes for our delivery to arrive. The order arrived within the quoted time! Score! The delivery guy was friendly, personable, and handled the food with care.
The pizza was very good! It was piping hot, and had the right amount of sauce and cheese. The garlic rolls were good and flavorful, but could have used more oil, as they were a bit on the dry side.
Overall, this is a good pizza shop! The prices are fair, it's easy to order online, the delivery guy was nice, and the food was good. I'll definitely order from this place again!
