Wolfe's Pizza and Wholesale located on Route 7 in Cobleskill NY, sits down in a small plaza so its possible to miss but that would be a shame. Wolfe's offers not only the standard fare but also their "take and bakes", dough and cheese as well as a large full and half tray catering menu. When you enter Wolfe's you are greeted at the counter and opposite that limited seating. That is the extent of the front of the house, but all the magic happens in the back. Wolfe's does the bulk of its business in take-out / delivery service and their wholesale business. This review is for the former. Our take-out order consisted of their Large 1/2 BBQ chicken 1/2 Chicken Bacon Ranch with a dozen garlic parmesan wings. This is definitely a large pie, I'm not sure of the circumstance but it's larger than most. Wolfe's does it right, this combo is great, this is a heavy slice, the dough holds up well, the crust flavorful. The wings are meaty and tasty with a nice amount of garlic. Overall, in the pizzeria rich environment of Cobleskill, (5 including Wolfe's) I recommend seeking Wolfe's out and giving them a try.
