Downtown Abbey

Second time to visit Abbey Ridge. First time was shortly after opening, and seemed really unorganized, so thought I would give them another go. Food was so so. I had a salad and a plate of meatballs. Portion size was okay, but really did not wow me at all. Needed a crostini or something to round out the plate, and I suspect the meatballs were store-bought frozen, not made in-house, and the sauce was not served hot enough to melt the cheese on top. The dining area is small, which is understandable. But there are several seats in the back bar area which both times I have been in seemed completely inaccessible due to clutter on the bar itself, and what appears to be the purses and personal items of the staff strewn about the area. I am fine to sit at the bar and get a sandwich, particularly if alone or just with one other person. But I would not wait there for a table to become available if the food is just mediocre.
