Soda fountain needs a new filter. Significant off-taste to my drink from the water used.
I visit Panera Bread often during travels from Charlotte to Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan and all the stayes in between. This location on Hilton Head island is just off the main thoroughfare on the northeast side of the island and only 2 miles from the resort where we stayed.
I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup with a deli turkey sandwich, customized with additional chesses and a variation of other items like frizzled onions, spinach and mayo and horseradish. The quality of the food lwas quite good and lived up to expectations.
This location is smaller than the average size of a Panera Bread restaurant, so keep that in mind when planning to dine at the restaurant. I visited at 2:00 pm during a rainy day and there was an open table or two. I usually do take out these days, a lingering habit from the recent pandemic, and the take- out shelf is near the entrance on the right side of the restaurant.
All in all a good experience.
Always get your order right plus everything is freshly made.
I had no issue with my food. Something was off with management/employees.
I always stick to salads for lunch which are always good. One major plus is that they are quick making orders so I able able to get in and out very quickly.
The Panera bread on Hilton head island (not the Bluffton one as they are terrible) is excellent with the rapid pick up. They put your ticket with a cup on the shelf so you don’t have to wait in line to ask for a cup. If it is something they have to make they do it. They do it properly. Thank you! I was able to just pick it up and go like it is designed to be.
Really good sandwich and the iced drinks are to die for. Although it took a long time for the food to come (15min when we were the only ones there) Still worth it!
Our experience was great. Staff was friendly and food was picture perfect. Except I lacked the thought of taking a photo. That is what happens when we live life and not watch it through a screen I guess. Inside the building around the dining/food prep area was clean. Restrooms not so much. Nasty restrooms drive me crazy. Cashier did not seem familiar with Verizon up credit and we ended up using the mobile order option instead. Worked easier than trying to explain to the cashier what the Verizon up credit was after she looked at us like she had no clue. The order was supposed to be ready at 9:08 am. The order should be on the mobile pick up rack. We got out of our seats and as we were walking to the front the employee was greeting us with the order! This experience is what lead me to give a five star. Can’t wait to visit again and maybe the bathrooms will be cleaned!
My family loves Panera and this location was great. It’s easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The restaurant was very clean and the employees we encountered were very nice, helpful, and courteous.

Glad this Panera opens at 7 on Sunday, that's when I'm nearby. All fresh loaves of bread and pastries. They all look so good. Reasonably priced, or if the sandwich prices seem a little high, the sandwich is always huge and comes with chips or your choice of another item. Rewards add up for free or discounted items. All of the food here is of high quality.
