We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here tonight with the family. I delivered a tres leches birthday cake there this morning and they provided the candles and the singing this evening. The staff were all great and the pizza was good too. Thank you to all of the staff for making it such an enjoyable party.
We walked in as a table of 5 about 40 minutes from closing. We asked if they could seat us and did without hestitaion. The staff was very friendly and professional.
We ordered the Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They were fresh and paired with a delicious marinara sauce. We ordered a large pizza that was fresh and so delicious. For my picky eater, they were able to accommodate us with butter noodles that are not on the menu.
The restraunt and restrooms were very clean
We were very pleased with New York City Pizza and left full.
My wife and I have tried MANY pizzas over many years and we both feel that NYC Pizza is among the best. We eat this pizza every year on our annual visit to Hilton Head (TWO times on this year's trip!). The 3.8 rating seems way too low - at least based on the pizza (we never tried any other food here except for pizza). On a side note, NYC Pizza recently added an upstairs open-air bar and tables. It wasn't open during our visit but it seems like a very neat setting.
I thought the food was pretty good despite the reviews. Not amazing, but good.
It's good and a really nice drink selection. Ask for extra crispy, the NYC style was a little soggy in the middle. I would definitely come back. Our server and probably day manager was Jamese and she is a dynamic young person. Great customer service skills coupled with a wonderful personality. If she wasn't waiting on customers she was cleaning something. Great sense of urgency.
The pizza was 3 stars but she's worth 5 stars. I split the difference
Came to HH for vacation. My wife was determined to have NYC-style pizza. Went with this place. Pizza was really good in the end, but a premium was paid.
Ordering online could have been easier or at least clearer. Lots of topping options but everything is $2 or more. While picking up our pizza, a couple was ordering theirs and expressed some shock that two pizzas would cost $67. I am with them…when I received ours, I was having a little sticker shock, too - $32 for a 16” pie. I must be getting old or at least spoiled by less expensive places! Our favorite place back home has a similar option for $10 less.
Anyway, the place looked nice for dining in if you want, but calling in an order and picking up was easy enough. End product wasn't the prettiest but was very tasty. Hope this helps you decide!
The pizza is delicious! The more toppings you get, the harder to eat as they are left in big chunks is my only complaint but others might enjoy that. To each their own.
We visit HH every year and New York City Pizza is our first, but not only, stop. Love the pizza, soups and salads. You won’t be disappointed!
We have been coming to this location since our honeymoon in Hilton Head in 2006! The food is always spot on. Very dependable and very consistent! We have both dined in and taken back to our condo and it's always fantastic!
Pizza was amazing. Heart burn was worth it. Feeling bad about myself (for eating an entire Supreme pizza ((alone in my hotel room))) was emotionally draining, but I can’t blame NYCP for that. That has more to do with my childhood.
