Upsacle casual, love the large patio area that is radiant heated in cold weather. Across from Park, nice after dinner walk. Food was delicious, had the Thanksgiving special which included salad, entry and desert. Avoid the carrots cake - was dry. Halibut was excellent! Service was the best - thanks Joanna! Ample parking, new modern building, stylish and clean
The atmosphere here is very beautiful and welcoming, giving the coastal appeal. The service is great. They did a fantastic job with refills and overall service. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the fresh caught seafood! Would highly recommend it if you are in the area!
I loved this restaurant! Wonderful seafood menu with great plates for sharing. Scallops and grits were excellent. Hush puppies were soft and flavourful. Everyone in our group of seven enjoyed their dinner and our server Kaylee was friendly and efficient. I would go back for the key lime pie!
Very good experience! We sat on the rooftop which had great views of the water. Waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We got there early so we were able to get the early specials which saved a good bit. Also it was happy hour so our oyster and hush puppy appetizers we Lee discounted as well. Only reason I rated a four star was the shrimp was over cooked. Other than that everything was great!
Nice selection of different dishes from land and sea. We've come here a few times, it's in a nice plaze with other restaurants and shops. They have both outdoor and indoor seating as well as a rooftop bar. Good for large parties.
Poseidon is okay. It was good. I over the crab cakes. My friend had the shrimp and grits which she said was the worst ever. It was tomato based and said it had no flavor. Everyone else was pretty happy with their entrees. The bread and butter might be the best I have ever had. Appetizer… pretzel and cheese and calamari and hot blue crab dip were excellent. Definitely a place to check out. It was packed and great atmosphere. The service was decent.
This was a "Poseidon Adventure" worth experiencing. We ordered a variety of main dishes and appetizers such as the hush puppies, tomato pie, fried scallops, and the shrimp and grits. All of them had large portions that were delicious. My fried scallops, in particular, were tender, huge, and very tasty. They also had a nice variety of specialty cocktails. I had the grapefruit cooler which was very refreshing. We sat outside which allowed us to have a perfect view of nearby fireworks. The service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. Expect to have a short wait of a few minutes, even with a reservation, during peak season.
Service was very good, personable and quick. We started with the duck wings and hush puppies. Wings were crispy and tasty, hush puppies light, fluffy and crisp. I had the scallops and grits. Scallops cooked perfectly and the bacon jam is a great addition. Veggies were a great texture, especially the charred broccoli. The grits were good but nothing spectacular. Hubs has the shrimp and grits and he was disappointed. Was more like grits with shrimp. The ratio was off and the shrimp were small, looked like 21-25 count or smaller. The andouille was cut in tiny bits. The tomato bacon gravy was lacking depth of flavor and spice and the grits were too loose. Overall, the meal and atmosphere was above average.
Great restaurant, went here July 22nd and had an amazing meal and beautiful sunset afterwards!
Three of us tried different foods and we were all equally pleased and would definitely return!
I choose two seafood items for my combo. Melt in your mouth Scallops and perfect shrimp. Delicious.
The others chose sushi and cleaned their plates it was that good. Our server was really good and made great recommendations.
What a great place. We sat outside, even though it was hot it was very comfortable. Our bartender was great. I seen him addressing many patrons by name, so a great locals spot as well. Our lunch was delicious. A great spot on Tues night for the fireworks. There was a cute shop attached with some very nice gifts. Inside dining also available. 5+stars, we will be back.
