The Picket Fence is an awesome hidden gem! We love the decor and welcome feel of the restaurant. The menu has something for everyone with great quality food. Our servers were attentive and friendly.
This visit was during the lunch/dinner menu but we've heard great things about the breakfast menu from family.
I decided on the Avocado BLT and fries which was delicious and very filling! The rest of the table enjoyed their food with no complaints - even from the kids menu 😋
We're excited to return and try the breakfast options soon!
Great price food. A little quirky but nice environment. The dinning room is really nice. The bar is a little simple and needs a more grand feel to match the rest of the room. Has a separate room for parties looks like. There's parking in the back. The food was different, I didn't know what to pick but I got the Sriracha pineapple chicken and red gudah soup. The food was good but I didn't have a knife to cut the chicken which was hard to do. Soup and crackers (crackers are amazing with spices) soup was great side of loaded mash potatoes was pretty good. Not quite 5 star but not a typical 4 star. I would go back to try the many flavors. Maybe if they had some unique teas to match the meals.
This is one of our go-to spots. The food is always good, and no matter what we have gotten in the past it has always been fantastic. 10/10 definitely recommend this place.
First they are short staffed day we went in as is so many places, waitress was great for how busy they were. Ordered Monte Cristo for breakfast, Wife ordered grits with no cheese, they brought sandwich with no cheese and grits with cheese. Management made it right with us, other than that handmade potatoes are great and wife enjoyed the grits. 2nd time we have been here, 1st time we came was for dinner and it was great. We will be back to give it another shot, really is a great place.
First time visit. Food was great. Place was nicely decorated and very clean. It was very busy but did not wait long for our food. Sweet tea wasn’t to sweet but plenty of sugar on the table.
This is a really cute place! Wait staff was friendly, food was good, prices were fair. They have an extensive menu, so there's something for everyone. They don't have a bar but they do have some beer and wine. Unfortunately there's no beer or wine list and our server wasn't familiar with wines at all so we didn't order any alcohol. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would eat there again.
The place was empty for a Friday evening. Strange because the food was good, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Live music by Trevor Mayfield was really good and not blaring. We truly enjoyed both of his sets. My wife had fried shrimp and I had the steak and grilled shrimp, all was very tasty. $2 bottled Karbach and $1 Buds special. A pleasant evening spent with friends, good music, good food and cold beer. What more could one ask for. Give the Picket Fence a try for dinner, I think you will enjoy it.
I’ve only had their Picket Bowl and can say just from that, I’ll be back for sure. This was so delicious and tasty. Bite after Bite I couldn’t put my fork down, I wanted more. I will most definitely be back and will try other items from their menu but hands down the bowl will be my favorite and go to. The employees were very nice and friendly. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Food was amazing as well as the service and mimosas!! Was only in the area for a short bit, but went twice! So glad we found that hidden jewel 💖
Amazing little place that we were lucky to find. Great food and service in a cozy, little themed place. The sandwiches are excellent, the bowls are hardy. Plenty of food for a good price. Highly recommend.
This was my first time here and the entrance was confusing. To their credit the window said "Parking in Back" but I understood that as overflow parking. They should have said "Entrance in Back". Anyway, the manager kindly greeted me and took me to my seat. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Hashbrowns and was not disappointed! I asked for crispy Hashbrowns and they delivered, the eggs were poached just right! Not to mention the ham had a nice, perfect sear to it. And the service was excellent! She was nice, quick and very attentive even though two more tables came at the same time. I'll be back for sure!
Middle of week dinner. Was not busy at the time. We had a salad & chicken fried steak. The steak was over cooked, very crunchy. The rest of the meals were good. Love the jalapeno hushpuppies.
This place is very nice and my grilled chicken spinach wrap was excellent! The waitress was very friendly! Enjoyed eating lunch here.
