It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. When you enter there is designated smoking at the front door which makes the lobby smell as well. When we got in our room the smell was so bad that we looked where to go buy an air freshener. Everything is outdated and dingy. Honestly the place reminds me of a horror movie. It’s creepy. We would’ve canceled and left but my husband was in a wedding nearby. Don’t stay here.

Stayed here previously years ago when it was Holiday inn. Unfortunately the place while still nice isn't what it was under previous name. Noticed dust and trash. The parking lot concrete is tore up. The bath towels were really cheap. The bed sheets were probably 10 thread. Pleasant staff is a plus.

This hotel is remnants of what used to be and not what is. This looks like it should have been shut down when the other one next to cracker barrel was opened. Customer service slow and not on point, asked if the restaurant was open told no...asked if bar was open told yes it would be and could get food there but found out it was actually closed. Don't waste your time trying to buy the continental breakfast for the $12.95 it's onlya few muffins and pastries at best. The pool area smelled and the building is under renovations like it was a few years ago but never finished. We got our room and the towels were all damp but the room itself was nice enough and beds comfortable. The parking lot looks like an abandoned lot in horrible condition and over grown, really wish them good luck but really either need to close and move on or invest a million into renovation but unfortunately there isn't enough attraction in that area to warrant any restoration.

Stayed here Friday night 5/6. Around 9PM, after a long day of driving through the rain, we decided it would be safest to stop for the night instead of continuing home. We had our dog with us, so we needed somewhere that was pet friendly. And the rate was reasonable. When we checked into our room, the tv was playing. We thought, hm that’s weird, but just brushed it off. Honestly thought it might have been the housekeeper keeping entertained while cleaning the room. We checked to make sure nobody was in the room, and it was totally empty. No people, no suitcases, no belongings. We headed to bed as we were exhausted from a 10 hour driving day. Around midnight we heard the door trying to be opened and then a knock… uhhh, who is it?? It’s a guest claiming this room is his. We were both given the same room. We say we’re so sorry and he goes to the front desk to square things away. 5 minutes later we get a phone call saying there was a noise compliant from our dog barking. Yeah, she was barking because somebody tried to come into our room in the middle of the night. We didn’t sleep much the rest of the night and headed out at 6:30AM. Hard to sleep in a place you don’t feel safe.

Rooms, bar, food are good. But clearly the management doesn’t care about their clientele. Teams from a baseball tournament were staying during my stay and took over the lobby being unruly, parents and coaches drunk and unruly all over the hotel at all hours, children playing tag and screaming in hallways at all hours, banging on walls and windows in common areas. In my opinion, management should have at least requested they have common courtesy or find other accommodations. Pretty disappointing that management allows this behavior. It isn’t a nightclub or a romper room.

🗑 (simply best described with a single “emoticon”)! All one need so is read the reviews. The area that this is in is one of the wealthiest counties not just in New Hersey, but in the entire nation (top 5 I believe). After staying here one would laugh at the idea of this being possible. (Stay elsewhere, there’s nicer trap houses in NJ…)

I hope you read this BEFORE you book. This place is awful. Hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve had in years. The owners family lives in the building and children are running up and down the hallways well after midnight while their parents party in rooms with open doors. The front desk staff (related) couldn’t care less and will do nothing to stop the noise if you complain. The rooms also reek like mold and the television (at least in my room) did not work. Had to leave in the middle of the night. Oh and they also have family write reviews for them so make sure you’re checking for patterns with the reviewers names and the days they left the reviews.

This hotel is the worst. The general manager was absurdly racist and rude to me and my family. I do not recommend people of color to spend there hard earned money here. The hotel room smelled bad and I seen a roach. Worst experience of my life
