I called just now and simply asked if they deliver. The lady who answered the phone said no and just hung up on me! So I called back and said that was rude, and proceeded to hang up. The lady then LITERALLY called my cell phone back and started yelling at me, wouldn't let me get a word out then hung up on me again! I've never thought a company especially a place that serves food would do that!!! I hope that lady is fired right away. I'm more laughing about it now because my family and I are in shock. Anyway, happy Easter everyone!

I have been ordering the same thing for the last 20+ years. The quality and quantity have been constantly declining for the last 10 years or so but last night was the first time I actually didn't like my food. I was very excited because since I moved out of town I rarely eat here anymore. I got my food in the take out container and noticed it didn't look like it had in the past. I tried a bite and was like what the heck, tried another and thought to myself this doesn't taste right, I wonder if something is bad, maybe it's just me it wasn't. The others didn't enjoy theirs either. It was so bad I didn't eat the rest, then today thought about eating the left overs and just couldn't get myself to do it. It's a sad day because this used to be a favorite, now with the way they have been going, I'm sure we won't be back.

It is expensive for not getting quality meat and small portions. Charges $3.00 just for extra sauce, in a carry out it's put in tiny 2 ounces containers. The buffet does offer a descent amount of options for $15-17/each person.

Just ordered takeout. 2 entrees, order of Rangoons and large Egg Drop Soup. For $43. We arrived home and noticed there was no rice at all. Called back and she said we can get double rice next time. Opened an entree container and they weren't even filled to the top, only about 2/3 full. Now I know food is more expensive these days, but give us the food we pay for, and FILL the containers like every Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at my entire life. Quit cutting corners just to scam a buck. Also, they gave us Pork instead of Beef in 1 entree. I figured no big deal, we'll eat it. Finally, we finished our meal and open our fortune cookies. Stale and rubbery like chewing on a tire. No crisp at all, obviously way past expiration date. I wonder how long they've been serving them to customers. I kindly called the owner lady to explain the disappointment, she said ok thank you. I said, that's it? She said yes and HUNG UP on me. This is no way to treat a customer who has been dining at Yen Ching for YEARS. I will never go back to the high priced, stale food serving establishment again. You lost an entire family of future Yen Ching diners for how you handled this situation and lack of any empathy whatsoever. We will never dine at Yen Ching again. I will however continue to order from Clinton's finest Chinese establishment, China 1, for much better food at a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for the area's best Asian Crusine, look no further than CHINA 1.

Pros: Usually quick Food is good and consistent Centrally Located Usually not too busy Cons: Customer service is less than desirable. If there is anything wrong with your visit, you will get nothing but an apology if you're lucky. Needs updating Silk flowers are dusty and near tables Charges for special orders are not consistent. Explicit language carved into men's restroom stalls. No high chairs, not friendly towards young children.

The only thing decent is the fried shrimp and cashew chicken. Rice terrible, dried out red chicken... egg rolls nothing to write home about.

Best Chinese food in town. And their buffet on Sundays is to die for. Best wings in town on their Buffet. They’re called hot braise chicken wings but they’re not hot at all. And the best sesame chicken in town. Highly recommend anybody that hasn’t tried it yet go to the Buffet. And the best egg drop soup in town.
