One of my favorite hot dog places in Jersey. They specialize in fried hot dogs called “rippers” and make their own very delicious relish. The chili is also top notch with the perfect amount of heat.

I mean, it's Rutt's Hut. Get a birch beer and a couple rippers, don't forget your relish.
For the pandemic, they're doing takeout or cardboard boxes to eat in your car.

Rutt's Hut is an iconic restaurant that is known for their hot dogs but also has other great food. The burgers are good and the chili and French fries with gravy are nice sides. Cash only, two separate food areas (take out in the back, indoor dining in the front), open late on weekends, what's not to like. Bring your camp chairs and eat in the large parking lot.

A trip to Rutt's Hut is always a super treat. Been going for years. Love their ripper hotdogs (the snap of the dog is so good!) and chili. The chili has a great kick to it. Tried the shrimp sandwich this time, delicious. Never disappointed with Rutt's.

I was told to come here by a good friend... Her dad used to eat here and loved it, so I stopped in and got a couple of dogs. They were good and I loved the homemade sweet relish.
