Modu Sushi

This beautiful, quiet, and well-thought out restaurant is deceiving at first glance from the street. Located in a small strip, you’re not sure what to expect upon arriving. However, after you place your order and sip some sake, you are immersed into a lovely, meticulous, formal-inspired meal that will leave you smiling and full to the tippy top. The servers are kind, and you catch glimpses of the fully stocked and bustling kitchen from the swinging doors creating a barrier between the worlds. This is our new go-to traditional Japanese place. THE best sushi in the capital district by far. Wish I could give it 10 stars. Amazing service, and great packing for takeout. The waiters are so considerate and kind. Food is superb. Sushi is fresh and delicious, and Korean food is authentic. Fried chicken is also very good. Would recommend to anybody.

Best Sushi restaurant in Albany, NY. Their food is prepared well, pleasing in the eyes, fresh, authentic, and excellent quality. Price is reasonable. I arrived in Saratoga Springs, NY on 05/13 and I've already had dinner at Modu twice. It is 12 miles from where I'm staying but I don't mind the drive because it's well worth it. I highly recommend Modu if you have high expectations when it comes to Sushi and Sashimi. I love their Sushi and Sashimi Combo 2.
