We were there for our first time yesterday and the man was very helpful with all the information on all kinds of fish. We bought the blue marlin and he explained how to cook it on the grill. It was absolutely delicious. They also let us know any kind of seafood we want they could get for us. Definitely the best fresh fish in town. High recommend them for all your seafood. Their sundried tomato mozzarella and tortellini salad was to die for...
I literally stumbled into the Harvest Moon Mkt. today on a whim (only because I happened to see a couple happily eating lunch outside) and was incredibly impressed! The gentleman behind the register was very kind and helpful, and while I left with the best fish fry I could hope for, I will be bringing ny fiancé back to purchase our seafood from now on! I can't believe I just got in there now. Check it out-it's absolutely worth it!
Great market!! Fresh fish, creative ready to eat foods, awesome staff. Just had the fish cake made with shrimp, scallops, and white fish... So tasty, especially with the remoulade and the apricot horseradish sauce... Everything we've had there has been delicious!
Everything I have bought here has been fantastic, from fish tacos, to Mahi Mahi and the freshest Tuna Steak. Chowders are also awesome. Can't say enough about how much they care about their customers. Always welcomed with a warm smile and conversation and helpful tips on cooking fresh fish. Check them out, can order fresh fish and seafood fried or pan seared, and a multitude of homemade sides!
The fish is so fresh! My husband and I both got fried fish, cod and the captains nuggets, it was amazing! The breading was crunchy but didn't take away from the flavor of the fish. It wasn't oily/greasy at all. The soup was also great! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for some great food!! The customer service is phenomenal, they make you feel right at home :)
If you love fish, you have to check this place out! They not only have the freshest fish in town, but are also the nicest people, always a welcomed smile and excellent customer service.
Sword fish special tonight was excellent and so were the scallops my sweetie ordered. We'll be back for pot pie.

I came here for the first time today. I had no idea you were here for 2 years!! I had the beer battered fish and my fiancé got the fish tacos. He is so picky so I didn't know if he would like them or not, but he did! Needless to say you will be seeing a lot more of me!
We went yesterday and picked up there King Crab Legs and the man was wonderful on explaining to us how to cook them. They were the best we have had and will definitely go back as only place I will buy fish from.

We've purchased salmon many times as well as cod. Every time it has been the freshest fish around! I highly recommend this fish market!!
The pan seared swordfish was delicious! We loved the seaweed salad, as well. My husband enjoyed the lobster roll and my son had the lobster Mac and cheese. So fresh and tasty! You must check out this wonderful addition to our community! We can't wait to go back and try some other delectable seafood selections!

The people who own and work at Harvest Moon go WAY beyond where knowledge, kindness and helpfulness are concerned. I would rather pay higher prices and eat sustainable, high-quality seafood less frequently than buy anywhere else. I am so proud to support this wonderful local business!
My husband's birthday dinner wish was for scallops, so we thought we would try the Harvest Moon. He said they were the best he has ever tasted...and we have purchased them several times since! We have been a regular, especially on Fridays during Lent. I am not a big cold salad person...but especially love the shrimp and macaroni salad with my haddock fillet. We recently tried the pierogies (since I am Ukrainian) and they were excellent as well.
The shop has a very homey atmosphere, is well-organized, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I am very pleased that they are close to home...and I wish them much success!!!

I’ve never seen a better or more fresh selection of fish anywhere in the capital district. I come from a city closer to the ocean and am used to “fresh off the boat” fish. Harvest moon delivers this and more. I’ve been coming here weekly for years. These guys drive down to NYC or Boston multiple times a week and return with fresh fish/oysters/crab etc. The Chilean sea bass and char are phenomenal. You won’t be disappointed!
I was in the restaurant business for 20 years at which time I bought most of my seafood direct from Boston. I have never seen a finer selection of fresh seafood than is available at the Harvest Moon Fish Market. I have NEVER been disappointed with their great service and sumptuous product!

Best Soft Shell Crab Po'boy Sandwich Ever!! Everyone should get one on Friday which is their cooking day.
Seafood is fresh daily. Everything we have purchased has been delicious.
Great fish fry and fried clam strips. Excellent, prompt and friendly service. They were out of clam bellies but next time I will call earlier in the day! This is our new go to for fried fish!
Love their fresh catches, especially the salmon. Unique salads! Could not believe they had hijiki salad. Will soon try their Friday cooked fish dinners.
Harvest Moon has absolutely the highest quality and freshest fish you can find in the Capital District. They are family run, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They will give you tips on how to cook certain fish and describe the taste of fish that you may not have had the opportunity to try. Very special business.
