I go to the 42 deli almost every day for lunch. Ive tried just about everything on the menu and I am yet to find something that is not delicious. I have never been to a restaurant with a friendlier staff. I highly recommend this place.

We wanted to take my mom out for lunch on her birthday and she wanted to try this Deli. My husband and I are from Chicago originally and the first thing that hit us when we walked in the door was that familiar smell of a Chicago delicatessen. He ordered the French Dip Sandwich and my mom and I both had Reubens. Sandwiches come with a kosher pickle, wavy potato chips, and a drink. The food was great and did not disappoint. Portions are just right. I didn’t ask if they had potato salad or coleslaw or macaroni salad but that would be nice with the sandwiches. The iced tea was perfect, the coffee strong and hot with several creamer flavors to choose from. There was a yummy looking cheesecake available for dessert but we were too full! The prices are beyond fair for the quality given. Be aware that 42Deli does NOT serve breakfast at this time, just lunch, even though some google sites say otherwise. Maybe someday they will have a breakfast menu, they say, but for now they have no facilities for preparing eggs.
Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good food and affordable prices and portions give you enough for your buck$$$!!! My kinda place....Highly Recommend
We're out-of-towners who wandered in merely because we were hungry and we had happened to park across the street. What a delight. For a very reasonable price, we were served perfectly made subs (one Ridgeway and one Italian), chips, delicious potato salad and drinks. Since the tip jar was at the counter, we pre-tipped. Our mistake was not going back up to shove a few more dollars in the jar after we ate. We'll make sure we remedy that on our next visit.
Awesome atmosphere, great deli style sandwiches that are made to order with freshly cut deli meats and vegetables. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area.
Love this place! Ate there several times this past week while visiting CF. Great food and great service. Will make this a regular stop when in town.

This place is beautiful, spacious, and very modern, couldn’t believe I was in Clifton! A MUST TRY! The food was AMAZING and the staff is AWESOME!

Delicious, clean, and beautiful deli. I had the roast beef, my wife had the Italian sandwich. They used rare roast beef (because it is amazing) and a freshly baked bun. Owner told us they use only high quality, all natural deli meats. My wife couldn't stop raving about her sandwich. The customer service was very good for a newly open establishment. Our food came just minutes after ordering. Owners were great! I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast.
First time there , very clean and the owner and staff very nice and professional . Food very good.

I had the Reuben sandwich. Hands down the best one I've had yet! The meat was piled on and the dressing was delicious. Very clean restaurant and wonderful staff! We will definitely be back and I look forward to trying other items on the menu.
First time visit and was very pleased with everything I tasted . Would recommend a sign that protrudes from the building as I almost missed the fact you were there. �

Ordered a Pastrami sub and it was great. One of the best I've had. Very friendly people and convenient location. It is a must go to place in Clifton Forge.

Got a turkey club. It was delicious staff was very nice. Whole deli was extremely clean. I'd definitely recommend and will be returning soon.
