This place is great! Service was friendly and excellent. Menu is varied. I had the fried catfish which was yummy. Others had the BBQ and raced about it, but my favorite was the fried pickles. Double yummy! The outside and inside are just awesome.

We had a great experience at Airport Grocery. Tamales with chili, Cole slaw, beans and fries with gravy were all good, service was perfect and fast and the outdoor seating was nice to have. The place oozes character. Be really nice to be inside in more normal times. I’d go again.

We were visiting Cleveland for my son’s baseball tournament. We visited airport grocery for dinner one night. It was empty when we walked in- we were seated and the server took our order. We asked about the homemade ice cream option for dessert when we sat down and the server said she would check on it. We ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches with fries and some other dishes. One pulled pork sandwich was brought out and the other 2 were brought out 45 minutes later. Excuse of “waiting on the kitchen” but there were maybe 3 tables occupied during our visit. The food was also cold when brought out. To bring out 3 peoples food 45 minutes after the other members of the party received their food is ridiculous and it was cold. We asked to order dessert when the food was brought and were told the kitchen was closed now and we couldn’t get dessert. The waitress was rude and we will not be back. We were told other people that visited this restaurant during the baseball tournament also had a bad experience.

I thought it was safe so I ordered the baked catfish, broccoli, macaroni and cheese. All I can say is that the fish was black and the worse I ever tasted. It now goes on the list of never eating at that location again. The broccoli has a great flavor. Coffee was cold and needed to be microwaved. I am not sure if any care was given to the preparation of my meal. The decorations were nice. The atmosphere was not inviting. I found it cold. Or divert. The decorations gets the one star.

Service was terrible. Bunch of young people that had no clue what they were doing. Over charged for a steak that menu said 32.00 and got charged 38.75. Also over charged for hamburger steak that menu said 14.75 and got charged 16.50. Wonder how many people not paying attention to what they are getting charged and are over paying! On a good note the pork bites are the bomb and they didn't over charge me for those.

My family tried Airport Grocery for our first time tonight. Let me say it will definitely be our last. We had to wait forever just to get our food then when we finally did it was terrible. They didn't even try to make it right. I don't know how they are in business!

I have always ordered take out, I called tonight to get 2 filets medium well and I am told I can’t order that way!! Really, this is my money and I can’t get a steak the way that I want it when I’m about to spend my money! I’m told that it’s a new rule because they are having to give away too many steaks, really well you need to get a new cook if they can’t prepare food the way the customer wants it!! This is absolutely ridiculous and you won’t have to worry about my family coming back if this is the ‘new rule’ !!
