Authentic Mexican food. Great service. Low prices. Quality food. The best Mexican food I've ever had. Wish I could give this place 40 stars.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is authentic and amazing. The prices are affordable. We loved it! Between my husband and I we tried the pollo, carnitas, carne asada, chorizo, al pastor, and lengua tacos. They were all totally awesome and customizable because of the toppings bar. Ice cream and popsicles were a perfect ending to the meal.
We just moved to TN from AZ and were worried we wouldn’t be able to find some good Mexican food. (We have a lot of authentic Mexican food in Arizona, being so close to the Mexico border.)
This place was authentic. I got 4 tacos (carne asada, tinga shredded chicken, al pastor pork, and carnitas)… they were all really good!
Had chorizo tacos today from Nelas.
I grew up on the southern corner of the western US. The Mexican food I am used too is authentic and the real deal. The people I grew up with made the absolute best dishes I've ever had. Today I was actually blown away that this little restaurant in Cleveland tn had such amazing and delicious tacos. The girl working was very nice and the wait wasn't long at all. The tacos man...the tacos were so good I wanted more when I was done. 10/10 guys. Please try this place!

Get the Horchata to drink! Milky cinnamon goodness. It tastes like chair tea latte without the tea/caffeine.
The breakfast Desayuno is a must have! The eggs, avocado and plantains are an amazing combo!!!
The tacos were also great! They are more like flautas/taquitos the way they are rolled up and fried than a taco. I like taking all the lettuce based topping off of the chicken taco and dipping it in the liquid cheese sauce that comes with the breakfast platter.
Carne asada tacos and the BEST darn shrimp 🍤 cocktail I've ever had. This place is awesome and brought me back for more. Not the biggest place in Cleveland but extremely good authentic Mexican food. If you're near the south side of town, you need to stop by for lunch or dinner. 2 thumbs WAY UP 👍🏼👍🏼
This is one of the best spots in the area. The variety is definitely there, but my favorite item was the pupusas- they were even better than the Pupuseria up the road and well worth the extra drive time. Good drink selection and when they have it amazing ice cream (the inconsistency in availability based around employee and freezer issues over 2 years is the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars). I never had to wait more than 30 minutes for takeout, there's plenty of seating if you're looking to hang out, but regardless of which way you go I would HIGHLY recommend this if you're looking for the real deal in Cleveland.

Pretty great food💯… we have ate here a few times. The food is authentic. They have a pretty good variety as well; from Mexican to Honduran With a little Salvadorian in the mix. To be honest I had never tried pupusas before but I wasn’t let down! Nela’s is a hidden gem. The tacos are pretty amazing. Their food is always cooked to order. This adds time to the wait, but I promise your not going to be let down! I can’t wait for the fresh homemade ice cream to start!!!
Coming from San Diego I have had a hard time getting good, authentic Mexican food. But I’ve found my place! So far Ive tried street tacos, mojarra frita, gorditas, popusas, and soles. Everything, and I mean literally everything has been delicious and just like home! Plus the service is fast and the people are kind! Highly recommend!
Great neighborhood joint. Few frills but great prices and tasty food. Some unique combinations of Mexican and others. Also scoop ice cream shop on site.
