One of the best coffeeshops with tasteful coffees in downtown cleveland! And no, they should not be leaving downtown! Great place to work or study too!
In half a year's stay in Cleveland, I became a regular at Vintage, above all because of their creativity and attention to detail. They invest time training their staff in meticulous brewing procedures for the coffee and tea, and they use quality beans and leaves. This is the only place I know that uses loose leaf tea and serves it to you already steeped, which releases the leaf flavors but avoids the bitterness of steeping too long. They also serve locally made bagels and pastries, and make their own waffles to order.
Vintage recently introduced very high grade coffees, which are an interesting option for a special occasion, date, etc. and not available anywhere else that I've seen.
Best of all, they accomplish all this without pretentiousness. The shop is a nice place to hang out, chat with the staff or owner, and get work done.
Vintage is one of a kind. It make look like just another hipster coffee spot downtown, but their product and craft is superb. You won't find another place with tea as high quality as theirs. The staff is also amazing and down too earth. Hat's off to Vintage Tea N Coffee!
Stepped into this little tea shop with my girlfriend when she wasn't feeling very well and the quiet and kind atmosphere, coupled with the excellent Jasmine tea, helped to perk her up. They prepare the tea fresh right in front of you, using glass (not plastic) kettles. The servers too were very patient and accommodating. This is a classy shop perfect for a small meeting with coworkers or friends. They also have bagels paired with unique smears. A great local find.
Vintage!!! What a great coffee stand. James you are a true coffee maestro! If your in downtown Cleveland you just go to the copper moon. Many wonderful options for coffee iced or hot.
I could go on and on but plain and simple this place freaking rocks and James is very friendly knows his trade well.
Thank you!!!
Great coffee, not the best prices. The seating is awkward and I wouldn't want to spend an afternoon there, but I think that's the idea. Very much a 'cool' place that tries hard to seem that way. For a city with a small coffee culture it's pretty impressive.
Goddamn they have some awesome bubble tea. Naturally derived ingredients (no powdered milk/flavors like other places). The bubbles are cooked in brown sugar and what not so they become sweet chewy little globes of heaven that make you want to cry. The lattes are also excellent. The perfect ratio of milk to espresso has flavors so deep that your mind enters a blissful state of nothingness. The teas are quality and selected by the owner from particular areas of Taiwan, China, and Japan that are known to cultivate the most succulent tea leaves known to man.
Excellent (but expensive) tea and knowledgeable staff. I had a delicious iced Oolong. The chairs are sculptural but not comfortable for lounging. You must be alert, at the edge of your seat.
I had a mocha it was made differently than I've ever had a mocha made. they make it with chocolate milk as opposed to any syrup they say that they didn't want to mess around with anything that was on natural I found odd because there's chocolate syrup in chocolate milk. the espresso was amazing.
Quiet place to enjoy great teas and coffee. Minimalistic decor, but incredible service and delicious coffee and tea. We had the best ice matcha latte and matcha waffles there.
