Review Takoyaki Japanese - Cleveland

Our chef had lots of fun energy and did a great job! Everything was delicious! We were given large portions that we took home and got to enjoy again. We want to go back and try more items on their menu. The tako yaki balls are soft and flavorful.

This food is so delicious! Chefs and workers are very very kind and chefs are hilarious! One chef at another table had said, " This is a Japanese restaurant honey, not taco bell!" Lol

This place has not disappoint us one time yet it’s been the most nice sushi and other and some other plates of food that we have dine. their service and services and services have been outstanding. I love the people we love the servers and more than anything else love their food. Thank you so so much takoyaki way to go.

Absolutely loved! My husband had the spicy crab roll, he says DELICIOUS. soup and salads *chefs kiss*. Then he had sushi & filet mignon and I had steak and rice. All of it was SO GOOD!!! The waiter was polite and very quick service. 10/10 recommend!

New to the area and needed a good sushi and hibachi restaurant to go to. My family and I ate here last night and we were blown away! My husband and I have eaten at a lot of hibachi restaurants before and yes they were good, however they all tasted the same when it came to the rice, vegetables, and meat that was cooked in front of us. Not this place! This place offers the absolute BEST flavor to their hibachi hands down! I’m not just saying that either. The rice alone was so good! We ordered spicy tuna and California rolls as an appetizer and they were so fresh tasting. I highly recommend this place because their food is not only the best, but their environment is so family oriented and friendly. The cook was the best entertainment I’ve had out of hibachi and was very engaging with everyone sitting around him. The other cooks were as well and I very much enjoyed my time here. Thanks guys! I’ll be back!

It's been a couple years since I've been here but the food, service, experience was great. You can dine in, take out, sushi bar, hibachi. We went for lunch and paid $28. The portions are great and you get a taste of e few options on their lunch menus. The hibachi looked entertaining for families. My kids(13 & 11) said they'd be interested so we'll be back soon

The food was good as usual, however our cook this time was short and show was just about non-existent. On top of that they have started adding in the tip on the bill. Very unhappy about that, will have to try other places.

You can get three rolls for $15. Can't complain about that! Nice variety of sushi. Prices are competitive. Hibachi is open until 30 minutes before close. Food was delivered quickly. Music wasn't too loud. Need to come back and try other rolls.

Great Japanese Steakhouse with traditional hibachi grill and regular seating. The chefs are artists. Food was great and surprisingly affordable.

Haven't rated my fav restaurant in a while, but I heard about a rating they received which was unfounded!!! I have been eating here for years. I love their food. Other restaurants in the area have had foreign objects in my food! Mostly without apology. I have never ever experienced that at Tako Yaki! The staff is super friendly. Food is always the same...great!!! They give you a lot, which of course, my husband loves. Best sweet tea in town. They never let my cup run dry. They bring extra napkins without being asked. The manager explained what happened with the review when we asked. Ridiculous circumstances! He is great. The most hard working conscientious restaurant manager I have ever met. I am gluten intolerant and they make me a special plain meal every time, but they also have gluten free soy sauce available! We eat here twice per week. Just completely remodeled and very clean inside. You have to try this place!!! If you are avoiding due to the news, ignore those sensationalists, ridiculous! They are just trying to make a story someone cares about! Why would trust a reporter these days? Find out for yourself. Sorry I thought about taking the pics after we had eaten some! Hahaha I forgot I just had sushi here last Sunday. It was great! I even mistakenly ordered some that had gluten and Joon, the manager, came by and said, “Don’t eat that it might have wheat in the mock crab!” He knows I can’t eat wheat. He checked the ingredients and sure enough it had wheat in it! I didn’t know and he remade it for me!!! They are the best!

My wife decided to surprise me with a dinner, we did have to initially wait about 30 minutes to get a table at the Hibachi, but it's completely understandable, with the restaurant being short staffed. Dinner was delicious, and the chef did a wonderful job at making sure the kids at the table enjoyed the experience. We feel absolutely horrible for the staff though because one of family of kids(2 adults & 4 kids) absolutely destroyed the table/ floor with their cups. It was almost like the kids just dumped out their cups as they left. Overall though it was a wonderful dinner and I highly recommend this place especially if you like fresh as hell sushi, I'm not a fan but my wife absolutely loves it.

We don't live in this town, but we have enjoyed our visits to this restaurant the times that we have gone, from the front counter to seeing the cleaners clean-up. Ozzie was our grill guy on our last visit, and he was exceptional! He was very interactive and made it a much more fun experience. Thank you to all the employees, though, for all you do to make the restaurant function as it should.

My fiance and I went on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Luckily, if you don't sit at a grill table you can get in relatively quickly. Staff was friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The food was so delicious. I had to have a Philly roll, the Eel roll and the Ice Cream Roll with Steak hibachi and my fiance got the chicken a shrimp hibachi. Plenty leftover a meal or two. My fiance has always been iffy about the idea of sushi, but he tried the fried "ice cream" roll and seemed to really enjoy it. He ate half my roll!! Most Japanese restaurants down south aren't very authentic but this tastes like the Japanese food I had back home in the big cities in IL! VERY hard to find around here. So 5 stars from us!

This is a great place to eat. Has some of the better sushi in the area. I recommend everyone to go there and try the food and even go to the hibachi and have a good show. They do an amazing job on the food and drinks and the service is fast and very helpful with all questions. They even run a good deal on Monday and Sunday of sushi which is really good and I enjoy a lot.

We went for my son's birthday and was surprised that they did a happy bday drum song. Food was excellent as usual, and the griller put on a good show. We brought a cake and the lady at the desk offered to put it in the fridge for us. I thought that was over the top.
