This ice cream shop has been around since the beginning of time I believe. The owner is always so friendly and all of his staff is exactly the same way. The prices are exceptional and what you get for the cost is extremely Fair. The location is clean and overall safe. I would have No Reservations about returning with my young children at any time.
Can't be disappointed with a visit to Sandy's. The ice cream is tasty and service is normally pretty quick. There is better ice cream in the world, especially in the Cleveland area, but this is still quality. Try a seasonal custard when they're offering it.
The bad news: the kids working are hit or miss on their service, they only accept cash, and it is only open in the spring, summer, and early fall.
Cool place (no pun intended) if you stop by in September they will usually have pumpkin custard which is one of my favorite deserts. Everything on the menu is pretty good and ranges from quick sandwiches to the best root beer float you can find.
What they have is very good. They dont have many options like other places. But many of the flavors tastes like popular candies. If you go,I reccomend the Black Raspberry ice cream. The flavor is not to strong but its not weak. It's very good and it has a pretty color.
I've been going here since I was a kid. After a Sunday barbeque with my friends and their families, we stopped by Sandys and had a great time. They were very friendly and provided great service. I had 2 ice cream sandwiches.
This was only my second trip and 👍 o the SIM I spicy chilli dog, !! the bomb !. Real short bread on your stawbery short cake !!made fresh,😋.delicious!! Yum!! I don't even need to cook !were full and satisfied. Try them,u want be sorry.
Best chili dogs on the North coast! All the rest of the menu is excellent as well. Killer milkshakes and malts. Fast and friendly service.
The banana and black raspberry ice cream is sooooooooooo yummmmmmmm!! I don't recommend getting it with sprinkles however, it takes away from the wonderful deliciousness of the ice cream. They even have something exotic as strawberry twist pumpkin ice cream! I wasn't beaver enough for that!
Always great service. Polite staff. My strawberry shortcake was delicious. My family and I frequent Sandys every summer and will continue to do so

There are picnic tables lights strung around the big shady tree cheerful colors everywhere with fresh paint every year and flower pots hanging all around
The combination of signs and memorabilia decorates the cute large stand
I love the colorful mural of the foot long wiener dog on the side of the building
Everything screams summer and vacation You can hang out for hours
enjoying the multiple " not processed and microwaved foods offered. It reminds me of my first job as a teen at a country ice cream combination corner store.
Oh and I must mention every year the owners gave me a treat Last year it was homemade strawberry shortcakes (freshly baked shortcakes)
This year I enjoyed pumpkin spice custard
Sandy's opens before Memorial day and weather permitting remains open to October 1
