First time here and had a great time. The calamari was some of the best I've had in cleveland, the caprese was good and our server/bartender was great! Tori made sure I had a good experience, gave me suggestions and was super sweet. Good location, parking was east to find, competitively priced, has a patio, full bar and good food.

Located next door to Cleveland Metroparks’ Merwins Wharf & Rivergate Reservation, Sainato’s newly-renovated dining room is amazing and the pizza and pasta is some of the best that you will find in the area.

The pizza was excellent and the restaurant, including the restrooms were clean. The bottom of the crust had some crispness but was still soft and light. The sauce was good. The toppings all tasted fresh, and overall, this was one of the best pizzas I've had.

Had a great time. The pistachio cheesecake was the best part of my visit. Cleveland pizza week was a success. The barbecue chicken pizza I give a 10/10. The carmen was a 8/10. A little spicy but was very good as well. Will be back very soon💃🏾💃🏾

Sainato’s is a good, Italian restaurant. Other reviewers here seem to have a problem that it’s not the most high scale restaurant they have ever been to. That is perfectly fine. If you want a good Italian meal for a fair price and quick turnaround. Look no further! Remember they also have takeout if you want to grab a pizza on the way home.

I haven’t dined in here, but I have been to the brewery next door Brick and Barrel. They allowed our party to order at Sainato’s and then they delivered the food to us in the brewery. The server that took our order was friendly. The food is delicious and their pizza is the best around. Will definitely recommend this place to others, and dine in next time I’m in the area!

Has a patio but we ate inside. Went around 1:30 and not many people at that time, but could have been a fluke. One of us built their own pasta with alfredo sauce, broccoli and mushrooms, the other had the meat lasagna. Both were delicious, with large portions- we only managed about half of what was served. If you like to order one dish and share, this is a good place for that. Service was good, prices on the mark, no complaints.

Nice spot. We were in the area for an afternoon drive and were lucky to find this spot. I would definitely recommend the lasagna (big hearty & tasty), the Italian sausage & fried provolone cheese (appetizer were the bomb).
Great folks, and very prompt. Food was hot & veeeeeery tasty. We sat at the bar as the place was quiet busy. There is also outside seating.
A definite must try if you like great food!

We had zucchini planks with lemon aoli. Aoli had no flavor except mayo. The place was dead and the server was overwhelmed. She certainly tried though and was friendly. The calzones were yummy. Great local beer selection. In the past they were served with a garnished pint. Now you get the can and have to ask for a glass. Overall, lunch was good.

Found Sainato’s while exploring Cleveland and we are glad that we did! Sat outside...service was great, appetizers and food were great. Finished it off with a pistachio cheesecake which was also great! We enjoyed everything here from the service to the atmosphere. Will be back!

First time here. We will definitely be back! We had the cavatelli and meatballs, meat ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, and a small meat lovers calzone. Huge portions, and the meatballs were amazing! Great service an great prices

They provided breakfast this morning for the KAYAKER’s for the blazing river event. It was excellent. It was hot crispy fresh flavorful and served with a smile. Coffee was good. The line moved fast. I definitely want to go back and try more of their food and hospitality. Thank you for your support of the kayakers

My husband and I love Rivergate Tavern! They have the best pizza around. The bartenders add a nice, personal touch and treat you like old friends. We recommend this place to all of our friends and family that come to Cleveland! We just can't say enough great things about RGT! :)

I get food from here when we're working on our racecar right around the corner, the best pizza in town and great food, never been in the restaurant side so I can't comment on the service there but the people on the take out side are phenomenal

We've been coming here since they first opened. Lots of changes recently. Some for the better...salads have larger amount of red peppers, tomatoes are better, quality of lettuce seems better. Meatballs are freshly made. Pizzas seem the same..a good thing. Not happy they took out all of the hightops on the dining side. If you happen to sit next to the wall the wait staff can't see you from the bar and you don't get great service. Tonight we were in and lots of parking out front, strangely enough, but full inside. But all of the lights were much brighter than usual. Too bright for our liking. Sat at the bar and bartender was friendly and got decent service initially, but, for the first time ever, our pizza was almost burnt on the bottom. Our server went to the kitchen and another girl finally came and cleaned our plates and presented the check. Then, even with 3 or 4 servers, it was some time before she came and took our payment. Then she and another female kibbitzed at the cash register for a few minutes, laughing, etc. while we sat and waited for her to return. We're used to getting excellent service from Kenny and generally good service from others...but tonight was a not great pizza and less than wonderful service. Usually you would deserve a 4*.

The waitress was drunk then preceded to tell us she was high. The order we had to repeat multiple times because she was so out of it then the food delivered was not what we ordered. It was a nightmare to say the least. We will NOT return.
