Very nice diner near First Energy Stadium!
Food was amazing and the owner was very personable and friendly! We had the corn beef sandwiches, chili, cheesecakes and cookies...ALL were Fantastic! On our next visit to Cleveland from Waco, Texas, you better believe we will dine here again! Thanks, Karl,
This Reuben sandwich was unreal. The breakfast was also pretty good, especially the over easy eggs on corned beef. Not crowded at all on the weekday late morning and Karl himself was there to take our order. Karl's kicks it old school and definitely worth the visit when in Cleveland!

Excellent relaxed lunch near the convention center. Being from NYC, I have pretty high standards for corned beef and this didn’t disappoint. Suuuper thin and tender with great flavor.
Quick service and good size portions. I liked that the potatoes were sliced and not just French fries. The rye toast was delicious so I’m going back to try the sandwiches!

Our breakfast experience was amazing. It felt like breakfast with family. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The corn beef hash was the best we have ever had. Top it off with a Bloody Mary and score you have the perfect breakfast or pregame meal.

Had a wonderful corned beef sandwich here for lunch while serving jury duty. Karl's has a wonderful old-school pub vibe and a menu to match. This is a get-what-you-expect establishment in the best way. The folks working here are friendly and proud of their food. 👍

Good, though kinda pricey. I ordered "The Judge", which was $16. Probably the most expensive sandwich on the menu, to be fair. It had corned beef, turkey, and roast beef (?) with 3 slices of bread and my choice of cheese. It was enough for 2 medium-sized meals.
I took one look at the 'free breakfast' in my hotel and thought there must be something better? I asked another hotel's concierge down the street and they recommended Karl's. The owner Karl is a very nice, funny guy. Nice pour on drinks and very good corn beef sandwich. One of the best I've had and I've gotten a few. Definitely will go back when I'm in the area again for lunch or just did an outing with my daughter so she can try the outstanding corn beef. Must try!!!
Great diner, friendly service, very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. We were able to get some off menu grilled cheese sandwiches served with fries. Being a vegetarian, it's nice to be accomodated as best as possible. Thank you Karl's!
