Enjoyed our dinner, everything was prepared well and as we ordered. Had a reservation an hour before closing, by the end of our dinner the staff was already cleaning for closing with several tables still seated. For a nicer restaurant that could have waited. Drinks were the star of the night, try a cocktail because they are very well made.

So here's the thing when this restaurant moved from it's nearer west side location to Rocky River I went the first week. It was uncharacteristically bad. But hey, first week. Returned 6 months later, still not a good experience. So, I have avoided this pace for, likec10+ years. On a whim went there last Saturdauly night. IT WAS AMAZING! The service was great. The food was perfectly delicious. My steak was prepared expertly and literally melted in my mouth. The scallops were seasoned so well and prepared splendidly, but the presemtation....OUTSTANDING. This lively place is now "on my list". I felt it was absolutely worth every cent I paid. I will be back!

Absolutely superb !! Betty our server was fantastic, amazing menu knowledge, great suggestions and knew what she was doing!! Surf and turf was excellent. Dessert wow yum! We will more then positively be back ! Great food and service ferris !!

It was so nice to go to a place that wasn't loud and had great service and I could have a conversation with the three other people that were at my table without a problem. And then we had food delivered to our tables after we ordered and the food was fantastic on every level for every piece of food that was brought! I would highly recommend going to this place! I've lived in the area my whole life and I'll be 50 very soon and never been there and now I'm sad about it LOL but I'm also happy because I can go there anytime I want.

Not unlike other reviewers, I found the place a little dark. Not sure why the lights are a little dimmer in steakhouses, perhaps out of fear that if the customer got a good look at the steak they're about to eat, they probably wouldn't eat it! However, that's not the case here, the steak was delicious and cooked to order. The service was speedy and pleasant on a slow night. Prices are reasonable for an upscale steakhouses with plenty of other options on the nenu.

Surprised my hubby with dinner here for his birthday. It was our first visit but definitely will not by the last! We got mozzarella sticks and the rueben rolls for apps. They were awesome! Our girls got the sliders, pizza and pasta. I didnt get to try the pasta becasue my 11 year inhaled it!! The pizza amd sliders were great. I got the delmonico Oscar style and i barely had to chew it! The meat was so tender!! The brandy Alexander was very good but very strong so beware! 😂 we will be back!!

We had absolutely stellar service from our waiter Chris. A majority of the people in our party were elderly including my uncle Elmar. Chris took amazing care of us. My aunt and I had the Prime rib with Bernaise sauce, my cousin had a steak with a great loaded baked potato, my father loved the Scampi dinner. What we did not realize was this was literally going to be my uncle's last meal. He had the half slab of ribs and fries. He loved them. He passed away two days later so we were incredibly grateful for the attentive and patient service that Chris gave us. Will definitely return to Ferris Steakhouse soon.

Had a wonderful meal at Ferris Steakhouse. Took my friend there for her birthday and we both had the Black & Bleu Filet and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly and the bleu cheese sauce on top was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive but gave us time and space to talk and catch up. She wasn't annoyed when we needed more time to look at the menu because we were chatting. They had a very nice wine and cocktail selection. Their bar area looked really nice and I could see sitting there having a drink and watching a game as they had tv's all around it. The restaurant is very classy and well decorated and the bar area is very nice too and I would call it an upscale bar area but a place where you would feel comfortable watching a sports game. We will definitely be back.

The filet mignon here speaks for itself. The service was impeccable. Our server Amber was AMAZING, and offered to take picture of me and my GF on their patio which was closed.
The courses came out at perfect intervals and the drinks were fantastic. Will absolutely come here again!

I have been here many times over the years and have NEVER had a bad meal. My wife has not either. We love the atmosphere - the piano player - and our requested waitress, Brenda. I recommend them highly to anybody who wants a nice experience without loud music and peanut shells all over the place.

I live nearby and began to frequent this establishment strictly out of convenience. When they first opened, things did not always run smoothly but now that they have a tenured staff in place, it is running like a Swiss Watch! I recently had the best piece of fish that I have ever eaten in the state of Ohio. High praise to the staff for consistently delivering an excellent dining experience! Thank you!

Celebrating our Anniversary was a delight at Ferris!! We are both LCHF (Keto WOL) and we enjoyed everything we ordered tremendously. Their house dressing is the BOMB. I WILL be returning for more of their Ceasar salad, just the side ceasar with anchovies, dressed with a Ceasar vinaigrette (the house vinaigrette perhaps?), added extra cheese and omitted the croutons and could have eaten two or three similar salads it was so good, truly memorable. The steaks were excellent, and because of our Low-carb (no sugar, no grains) choices prevented us from having dessert, but we both left completely satisfied and even with some leftovers to enjoy the next day. HIGHLY recommend this $$$ location for events, celebrations, or occasions. They also take reservations, and the staff was delightful!! Great job, and highly recommended!!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there 2 days ago and had an amazing experience! The ambiance is beautiful and they sat us right by the fireplace. The food was wonderful, from our appetizers ( French onion soup and fried mozzerella) to our salads ( wonderful Mediterranean dressing with bleau cheese) and then......our surf and turf!!! Our filets were cooked to perfection and the 2 scampi looked like mini lobster tails! Then our awesome waitress, Mary Jane, brought us creme brulee for our anniversary dessert.....wow!! The owner even came over and talked to us! From the minute we walked in to the minute,we left we were taken care of! Thank you again Mary Jane for your excellent service, we WILL be back!

Went last night with my boyfriend, our waitress was such a sweetheart, awesome service! Nice quiet and calm atmosphere also.. only thing is, the food isn't worth the expensive price. $40 for steak with 2 pieces of shrimp and my steak was mostly just fat. But overall not bad place to go.

Food was good but overpriced. $54 spent on a couple of drinks with not even a small buzz makes me not want to come back. If I’m going to pay $9 for a drink it should have some alcohol.

Went in March for my birthday and loved it. Came back for Valentine's day and loved it too! Awesome service and satisfying food and drinks. Christine S was great to us... Our first time at Ferris', my husband and I took my mom there. HIGHLY recommend it. Steak was cooked just right, juicy and full of flavor. Atmosphere relaxing and the piano player Steve was fabulous. Our server Brenda was very attentive and super sweet.

Thank you to Mary Jane who took "superb" care of my Husband and me tonight on the patio with friendly, detailed, personal service! I should also mention Jennifer was great last time at the bar. The entrees have been delicious so far and the Margherita flatbread, Amazing! Ferris Rocky River has succeeded in attracting diners looking for a fun but classy experience.

Went there tonight for the first time for my birthday. Prime Rib was ice cold in the middle. Sent it back and when the same piece of prime rib came back tasted like it was microwaved. Very disappointing...Nothing like going to eat somewhere and being more hungry after you leave and still needing to eat dinner somewhere else.
