This is five stars for me. From the time I pulled up to the valet to getting back into my car, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted with a friendly welcome and asked to just leave the keys in my car. I checked in for the reservations and was greeted with a smile. My table was not yet ready so they said please have a seat at the bar and have a drink while the rest of your party arrives. It was just a warm friendly welcome. This location is small and intimate, the entire staff was friendly and accommodating in every way. They even changed the channel so I could watch the playoffs. The food blew me away. I tried duck and it was almost like juicy steak. I tried calamari unlike any I have ever had in the most delicious marinara sauce I could ever remember having. I had the Ribeye which was the special and it was one of the best. It was perfectly cooked, so very flavorful and the sauce I could not getenough. I was using bread to soak it up and eat it. After all this great food and service I was given a friendly farewell on my way out to find my car already pulled up to the door. This was top tier dining and service. I highly recommend this gem.

This place is always great. It feels like stepping back in time. Everything is classy. The food is delicious. I had the peppercorn crusted duck breast, served with walnuts, sundried cherries, goat cheese, and a frangelico based sauce.
For the main, I went with classic veal parmesan. You cannot go wrong with that.
If you've never been here before, try a veal dish.

We came for our anniversary and the whole experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The owner helped us pick out a great wine that we both loved, despite the two of us giving him conflicting preferences. Our server, cool Natalie, was amazing. Every recommendation she made was perfect, she knew the menu inside and out. The food flavor and portions were delcious from appetizer to dessert. The valet and the doorman were also fun and courteous. Well worth the drive from Columbus. We will definitely be back

Practically the perfect restaurant. Soft 70s rock in the background, eating the most delicious food that money can buy (especially if one of the house sides is the potatoes)! Staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Very pricey but the flavor is out of this world.

Don’t let the low-key outside appearance fool you, this place is fantastic. Kind of a small exclusive environment. Great service and very good food.

Okay, I never been here before last night. This place is unbelievable. Our server was John and the greeter I think was Jose. Top notch service, and the food....OMG. How great. I love Little Italy and am pretty old and have eaten everywhere, but this place is the best. Basically you can point at anything on the menu and you are going to be beyond happy. Thank you Tiffany for making me go there. One of the best eating and fun experiences I have had.

Food was delicious. The service as great. I can't give five stars because the drinks were not good. Ordered an old fashioned and they put seltzer in it. Yuck! That is not the way it's served commonly. I wish they would have asked. I couldn't even drink it.

What an awesome bar restaurant. Johnny's is old school Italian with the businessman sitting at the bar for lunch and others dining in the back. Beautiful paneling great mood lighting generous seating. The menu was Italian. And many delightful choices to choose from. I had the pasta with the gorgonzola cream sauce which was to die for. And it was a generous serving so I was able to take some home my companions also enjoyed their meals. One had the shrimp and scalloped pasta and the other guest had a fish dish. Loved the atmosphere loved the server Glen. Meal started with a wonderful salad and we were too full for dessert. Great wine list as well this is such a cool place to go it's great for a family get together as well as a lunch for ladies or business at the bar. This is a must-go

Outdoor patio on a cool crisp Cleveland Summer evening combined with outstanding service from Kelly and staff.
Pasta rigatoni was perfect
al dente' , crusted breaded veal, rib eye and lobster tail followed a wonderful house salad. But, the appetizer of duck, with a
demi glaz over dried cherries ,with walnuts was equal to the smoked trout entree. Pleased to recommend to everyone for any occasion.

Amazing👍 I grew up behind Johnny's bar 38 years ago and I've always wanted to go in As an adult so we went back to my neighborhood and Brian and I spent our Easter there and it was absolutely lovely the place is not changed a bit since I used to go in and Uncle Johnny used to give us Lemon Ice's 😁

Escargot was a huge miss. Everything else was excellent. Service, setting (outdoor patio) and entrees and salads. Pure class. Veal with foie gras was as good a meal as I’ve ever had.

I would highly recommend this restaurant! We were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary last night and my boyfriend went during the day to drop off a bouquet of flowers which they had situated at our table! The attention to detail was impeccable! Our server was Rob and he did an amazing job, incredibly competent and very friendly. The food was out of this world. The atmosphere was something to note as well; the music was fantastic, the art on the walls was appealing and it very much felt like an authentic Italian experience!

We’ve been Johnny’s Bar fans for (doing the math) over 25 years now. How time flies! Our most memorable meal was when my wife and I celebrated our 10 anniversary there along with a bottle of Opus One back in 1996. And now that we have our 32nd anniversary coming up soon, we’ve changed, but the quality of Johnny’s classic Italian dishes have not. Last night we took our 24 year old son with us, and everything was fantastic. The food, the service, the wine ... all of it. And how is it we didn’t know they had a patio until now?

We have been going to Johnny‘s on Fulton for 45 years! I daresay longer than just about anybody I know of. It’s still our go to place in the greater Cleveland area. Will always remember having lunch with my dad there and sharing the back room with Gabe Paul and his secretary. That had to be back in 1978. Love this joint!
