A must if you are in the area. The frozen custard is great. Melts quickly, so be prepared if you get a large cone. The ice cream cookies are incredible, I recommend the mint. Vanilla and chocolate are two classics, or you can try the pumpkin (seasonal).
Overall, great oldschool vibes. Great place to go at night and eat on one of the benches on a hit summer day.
Staff was working pretty quickly, we waited about 3 min until someone acknowledged us standing at the register. From there it took 10 seconds to get our treats!

I love their custard. My favorite is a kid sized turtle with whipped cream and a cherry. The hot fudge is always hot and that's important. Most places don't bother with the hot fudge actually being hot and that's just wrong on so many levels. The only thing I don't like about the place is the weird smell. Might be disinfectant, but whatever it is it's too strong.

This is only my second time visiting this establishment. The people are very friendly, polite and courteous. The place was very clean and tidy. The ice cream was "EXCELLENT", but the pops that were ordered had too much carbonated seltzer in it. It burned when swallowed. The only other problem is that the parking lot has to be shared with the auto body shop on the East side of the building. There also are no handicap parking spaces at all. But, just with those 2 issues this is a WONDERFUL place to come and enjoy some excellent ice cream and sundaes.

My absolute favorite ice cream place in NE Ohio. Grew up going here. The best part is that East Coast introduced vegan flavors as soon as I became vegan. We are so in sync like that š„¹ā¤ļøš¤ Always a treat.

Yum! We donāt have many custard options at home, so itās always a treat to get some. I had a chocolate concrete with peanut butter cups added in and it was to die for. Reasonably priced. Staff was fast and friendly. You really canāt ask for better.

This place is a local icon. I've been going there for years and I love it! There's also another location in Mentor. Their product is always excellent. If you want to treat yourself to some excellent ice cream products then take yourself and your family to this place and enjoy it!

Went up and tried to order a lamb vindaloo. Spent 20 minutes trying to get them to make it until I realized I was talking to a toaster in an alley way. I love crack. 10/10. The ice cream was pretty good too.

Been there twice in the last couple of weeks both times yum yum yum š ! Last time I ordered a cookie dough and peanut butter cup concrete. So good. If the line looks long it moves quickly. I love the outdoor benches. The staff is friendly and efficient. Thanks!

This place like others mentioned rotates flavors. I can see where it would be annoying but I actually like trying the new flavors each time. Tonight was coffee/toffee. Picture is of the Turtle. Next time I will try the buckeye one. Anyhow I didn't know how awesome custard was until moving to the east coast. If you're in the area you have to stop on. Parking sometimes is non existent and seating can be limited but it's busy for a reason.

This is my favorite place in the whole entire world. I think about it everyday. I donāt even live in Mayfield anymore but I consider flying back quite often JUST to get East Coast. My favorite thing on the menu is definitely the concretes, but I change up the flavors and toppings every time. You can never go wrong with the birthday cake one. Theyāre also good with caramel sauce, peanut butter cups, everything. I go to bed every night thinking about EC and I wake up every day thinking about EC. My obsession is unhealthy, I recognize this, and I donāt care.

I had NOOO idea that GLUTEN was in their custards/ yogurts. I was sooo sick yesterday and the day before I felt like I was poinioned. It wasn't until I googled to seeĀ if GLUTENĀ WAS PRESENT did I realize that my body was being poisioned! Ā I have Celiac, and Im angry that EAST COAST does NOT find it of the UPMOST IMPORTANCE TO LET US THE CONSUMER KNOW WHAT IS BEING PUT INTO THEIR PRODUCTS! Ā Ive been getting custard there for awhile and always ended up being deathly sick, I had NO idea that Gluten was an ingredient in their Custards, and yogurts. EAST COAST....PLEASE EDUCATE THE CONSUMER AND MAKE A LIST OF INGREDIENTS OF WHATS IN YOUR PRODUCTS, SO THAT WE THE CONSUMER ARE NOT BLINDSIGHTED AND END UP IN THE EMER> RM!

Best Ever. At this location the best frozen custard. When I was a kid you could find good custard anywhere, Strickland, Stoddards, alot of local places, but they are all gone or changed. Take your kids to the place that keeps it real.
