Great Mountain Pizza

I’d venture to call this place a hidden gem in Clermont. It is in a nondescript plaza at the crest of a hill on highway 50 next to an H&R Block. Not exactly a place you might think to pull into cruising down or in busy traffic. But go there anyway. The owner has brought his restaurant back to the original location his parents ran their operation in the 80’s, and his passion for his craft is on full display in his food. Green mountain offers artisanal pizzas and pastas made with a well balanced homemade sauce. The crust on the pizza has good flavor and holds up well to the steam from the toppings. But I highly recommend the cheesesteak sub. The lasagna is also spectacular. Fantastic. If you decide to dine in, the hospitality of the owner and his people is unmatched in my experience.

We are new to the area and stopped in for lunch today. We ordered a 12” Vezuvio which was one of the best pizzas we have EVER had. Fresh ingredients with delicious crust and cooked to perfection. We ate the entire pizza (yes, we were very full). Staff so polite and attentive. We will definitely be back to try more!

We love green mountain pizza. The cheesy garlic bread is the best bread around. They have affagato which is excellent and hard to get anywhere. The deluxe pizza is delicious. The blue moon served on tap comes with a sliced orange on the cup which is always my favorite way to drink my beer. Green mountain is a regular for us.

This small but Large in Taste Pizzeria is a Must ! We stopped in after a day at the beach around lunch time , we had the pizza And Gelato ! Let me tell you folks “” This pizza is amazing!! IT’s everything you want in a pizza , Fresh mozzarella cheese , homemade crust , you can’t go wrong! The Gelato sang in my mouth ! It was creamy and delicious , most definitely could have had more ! The menu looked fantastic ! I wanted more ! Of EVERYTHING ! 😆 the Spaghetti looked magnificent ! Yum ! Don’t pass by this Pizzeria without stopping in , We want this in our town ! Jealous ). 🤣
