I had an excellent meal here last month. I had plum wine, small Shanghai dumpling, and honey walnut shrimp. I was very hungry and finished them all! The dumplings were small but full of flavor. The sauce on the honey walnut shrimp was balanced, not too much mayo and not too sweet. I also appreciated the shrimp and broccoli ratio. The service was good as well. I can't believe I've waited so long to try this place, I'll have to come back to try their other dishes.

We drove 15 miles twice to eat at this place. Their food is amazing and reasonably priced. You got to definitely try their beef dishes they are so good.We tried their crispy coconut milk balls which we never had before and was mindblown. We had them there and took takeout too 😀 There are a lot of tasty vegetarian options too . I love this place and will definitely go back .

When we got there nobody said hi. There was only one table with people eating. The place look kind of sad. So when they finally talk to us gave us a paper menu which is fine. We took the food to go. The chicken wings had onions and garlic. We didn't like that. The rice was not all that. It was pricey.

Definitely delicious food and efficient service. Everything we tried was very good. My wife IS NOT a fan of Chinese food but she enjoyed the wonton soup, steamed vegetables and the seafood fried rice with XO sauce, it was outstanding! My eggrolls were crispy with fresh filling. The general Tso chicken had nice white meat chunks with a light batter and a nice spicy/sweet sauce. Living in Dunedin we really can't find good Chinese restaurants, so a quick trip I to Clearwater is definitely worth it!

We are so glad that we went here. It was nice to find a Chinese Restaurant with their focus being table service. The food was delicious and fresh. We had been looking for “Soup Dumplings” and found them here called “Shanghai Dumplings”. I understand now that this is probably the correct name for them but only by reading another review did we know to look here. The wait staff was very helpful with explaining the menu items to us but I wish that their online menu was better.
If you are feeling adventurous (read: Try at your own risk) then try the Jellyfish Salad. I don’t remember ever seeing it on any other menu. It was fantastic with pickled radish and carrot slivers.

Customer service was great. Took several attempts and rings to answer; however, pleased with the ability to swap out vegetables in one of the entrees - 4 stars
Spring rolls were meh. Lacked flavor and were greasy - 2 stars
Egg rolls were just ok. Better than the spring rolls, but not flavorful and lacked substance - 2.5 stars
General Tao’s chicken was good, not like I am used to. The breading was very sweet, like a fritter almost. Also wasn’t as spicy as I like - 3 stars
Kung Pao chicken was decent. Zucchini in the entree was terrible and not like I am used to. Made the dish very watery. Also not very spicy - 3 stars
Overall not completely displeased, but I probably wouldn’t return. If I did, I’d try something else on the menu.

Went by 4.3 star rating and ordered egg fried rice and we got just egg and rice..no veggies. Just plain rice with eggs. It was almost closing time order and if they dont have time they should not take it. But if this is what they serve for a simple egg fried rice then not worth even 1 star. Very disappointed but had no choice..we were hungry and no time to fight.
Responding after owner's reply...egg fried rice is with at least beans and carrots in almost every Asian restaurant I have tried. If this is any different for Asian Pearl there should be some description. Your menu does not have any description for any items. If I saw egg fried rice is just egg and rice I would not have ordered it.

We love this place. We get 3 to 4 dishes and share them. Pekin duck, sesame chicken, beef house noodles and ginger beef with green beans.
