Moe's Southwest Grill

Like so many tex-mex restaurants Moe’s offers fresh food and semi reasonable prices. However the chain can’t seem to get the franchise owners to get it together. Other chains with the same type of idea are eating away at the company’s profits. There is no uniformity like what we come to expect from a chain type eatery. They don’t seem to be addressing customer suggestions. That being said, at this establishment the employees could not have been nicer. They seem to like their job and genuinely care about your purchase. The food was hot and fresh. However, like at many Moe’s, the check-out process is getting as bad as the Airlines. I don’t know what they are doing at the register. There are limited menu items so let’s hit the buttons, swipe the card, and send the customer on their way. I don’t want to wait for an eternity while they figure out what kind of taco and what button to press. The food gets cold and we lose patience. They need to get out in the dining area continuously and clean, clean, clean. Clean the tables, chairs and floors. Don’t wait until closing time to clean. NEVER EVER re-fry chips. This is ridiculous. No other tex-mex eatery does this why should Moes? Portions sizes were small, smaller than I have ever seen and we eat at Moes all over the Country. Signage is bad. I say this because I want this store to do well. Being from out of town we saw no sign on the road. It was not easy to find. The sign across the store front could be a little bigger and, if nothing else, a little brighter. With just a few minor tweaks and the decision to listen to what their guests want Moe’s could be a leader in the tex-mex war …

When an employee asked the manager if he should wash the baskets that they serve your food in, the manager responds "only if they stink! " 😨 So the baskets that you get with your food in them are covered with the germs the previous customer left on them. So pray they weren't sick. The portions are small, the cheese was hardened, the manager is rude, there was no ice in the ice dispenser, and the tables are never clean. Even an employee told us we should eat at Chipotle next door instead! Run far from this Moe's !!

Around 9pm today I walked into Moes for their Monday burrito deal, and initially I received no greeting whatsoever... Okay big deal, as I proceeded to order my burrito the girl making the burritos at the time was very sloppy and had a terrible attitude with EVERYONE. She then had to swap out her spot with another coworker who was also VERY rude. I don't know if everyone was tired and wanted to go home or WHAT but the service overall was terrible. My burrito was sloppy, the cashier girl threw stuff into the bags in a rush and almost spilled my queso and the customer service was ridiculous. The location overall was very dirty and I was extremely disappointed. Usually I go to the location off Tampa rd in Oldsmar but recently I moved to Palm Harbor. With that being said, I think I'll take the extra commute to go to Oldsmar. Please fix this location.

Haven't come to this location for a while, remember The crew treat me great!, this time whole new team, a manager called "Josh" (or that's what cashier said, no hair , black shirt, no hat and tattoos all over the arms), made jokes made the people in front of me feel uncomfortable, when my turn did the same, when ask him if is he the manager he started looking me dicrectly to my eye like with the fighting kind of look, "I am just making jokes" he said, absolute unprofessional, I have to said I am a restaurant district manager, I am very very much close to health department regulation and recognizing food quality, this place it's now a mess, many health violations on most of employees, dirty tables and prep tables, unprofessional customer service, and they had definitely go lowed on their quality, food was that bad I couldn't end the plate, didn't taste good, it used to be a great place ....very sad to see the people now work there are careless about customers. My visit was May 5th around 8:45 pm. Don't waste your money at this place there is not the great Moe's experience it used to be.!

If I could rate lower, I would. The manager (I was told her name is Nancy) of all people, looked me straight in the face and told /asked me "do you see these people behind you, I need to pay attention and move along." This was AFTER I had been standing in line trying to order my food and employees were jumping in and out of the prep line, so I wasn't sure who to tell what I wanted on my bowl. The cashier took my food and as I told her that I wasn't done, that's when the manager so rudely pointed out the line of people behind me and said she needed me to pay attention and move along. Now mind you, I was on my phone, but my client on the other end was patiently on hold since I decided to take their call during my lunch hour. I have NEVER in my life as a customer been spoken to so rudely. Nor would I speak to one of my customers in such a manner.

I was discussed!!! Not only buy the food but when I went to use the bathroom after eating my meal I walked in on the tall man with the Tattoos all over his arms who prepared my food, sucking off the little black kid that works there's I have nothing against gay people but I do believe the work place isn't the place for such acts I believe the man's name is Josh this is a true and sad story I'd never eat from there again I was also with my small child I thank God he didn't she what I witnessed!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Also when I was preparing my drink the lil African dude was stocking something he smelled so bad I almost through up I want to dump water over him to help the kid out lol. But for real absolutely disgusting!!!
