Tropical Smoothie Cafe

9/2021 - I've been to other Tropical Smoothies and never had an issue until I started coming to this location. Biting into one of these leaves an extremely disgusting taste. This is twice now. Please fix this issue. 6/6/2022 Update: been going back and have not had further issues. 6/14/2022 - Previously, I had the peanut butter pita crunch and it was great. This time, the pita was stale and tough and very difficult to bite or eat. Ended up throwing it away. Where was the peanut butter? :(

This is a great place to eat some fresh and healthy smoothies but it goes beyond that. They also offer a great variety of delicious sandwiches. They have nice music playing in the dining room. The workers there are very kind and attentive. I will definitely be back here. I highly recommend it. 5 stars.

Wow. First time at one of these and the Gulf to Bay location blew me away. I was prepared for a tiny flat bread and a 9 dollar smoothie. I got a delicious Pesto Flat bread with chicken and it was twice the size I thought it'd be. And the Jetty Punch smoothie was massive and only 4 bucks. The inside was clean and the staff was professional, helpful, and extremely quick. This place deserves your money and you deserve the delicious meal you get in return. Healthy and quick are typically not synonomous.

The cashier asked for a tip (in the DRIVE THROUGH 🤔) which I gave him, and then the guy with the dreads literally did not say a single word to me while giving me my food, forgot the chips, then again not a word while giving me my smoothie and not even a “bye” or “thanks”, he just walked away, even though I was very polite to him. Then I got home to see they had forgot tomatoes on my sandwich. Very odd and disappointing experience with the employees.Addition: The owner commented below and I filled out the feedback form several days ago and still have not heard anything about it or been contacted.

So today at around 2:20ish I ordered 3 smoothies , which were absolutely terrible and tasted completely watered down. The Thai chicken wrap I ordered opened up to be some wrong wrap with beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Lol what is going on with this place..? And the sad thing is , is this place’s service and quality of food is always like this. No matter how many times I pull up here. Don’t come to this tropical smoothie if you want quality food because I promise you won’t get it . Good thing I called the manager to confirm a full refund right after I opened everything up and tasted it. Tighten up Tropical smoothie. There definitely needs to be much better training here 💯

I pulled into drive through at 10-10:15pm. When online says they are open till 11pm. When the screen repeatedly said, " sorry we're closed." As I pulled away another vehicle pulled in and their order was taken. We placed an online order and the doors were locked as well. The smoothies tasted like medicine. I am never coming back.

Called to try to submit an order ahead so we wouldn’t be showing up within minutes of closing time to put in a food order, was told they don’t do order over phone but to put in a mobile order or come over. Clicked place mobile order and the kids working had shut it down so it showed on the app “this location is closed” 10 mins before their closing time. So we got up to the window before closing ready to order and the girl said “we aren’t making food, you can only have a smoothie.” I do completely understand how people start wiping things down early which is why I tried to order as early as possible, but if you are open till a certain time your staff shouldn’t be refusing to serve your customers while your sign openly displays you are still open as do your business hours just because they wanted to shut down early.
