Thursday evening. Not super busy but might be best to call in. There is a kiosk for ordering( for chip cards only). Once there, we decided to eat in. There was only one other customer eating in. Everyone was friendly and professional. Bourbon chicken with fried rice was fresh and delicious. Chinese donuts were yummy as always and you could smell the cinnamon as they came out fresh and hot. Crab rangoon is the best, inside was creamy and delicious, outside perfectly crunchy. Only flaw was the egg rolls, something different about them and i didn't care for them. This place is a great place to take out, especially when downtown clearwater, plus servings are huge! Sad that it doesn't open until 4 on Sunday though. 😔

I just want plain fried rice with an egg added. For hard undercooked rice with burnt eggs, I always regret tipping after tasting food. But sometimes the food is 👌 keep your fingers crossed When I first had china city, 16 some years ago... the rice was yellow, none greasy 😋 everything was delicious, but now its this dark brown rice, filled with hard grains, I always have to recook it. Mixing old and new rice together, Ugh. I swear the chicken on a stick gets deep fried, 😩 I seen em drop it in the grease one day.. food is always changing for the worst, & then these false 4 and 5 stars reviews.. what ya'll getting a free eggroll. Do my order look complicated?? guess so. I didn't receive no fortune cookies, no napkins, spoons or anything, but I still tipped.. won't happen again. Peep the shrimp eggroll..

Not the smartest employees, I order from here alot, my name and past orders and address are in their computer after i give them my #….tried lying and blaming me because they didnt send my food out to be delivered. After i told the lady on the phone my order, i asked to pay and was told “the driver has a square to pay”…after an hour i call back and was told “no its here, you told me pickup” If i said pickup (which i never did) why would i need to know the delivery drivers can take my payment by card. SMH 🤦‍♀️ FOOD COLD,BEEF NASTY,SHRIMP NOT DEVAINED N TASTED LIKE DIRT! DEFINITELY NOT AS GOOD AS IT WAS WHEN ACTUAL CHINESE PEOPLE COOKED N OWNED IT. Wont be eating here anymore! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Food is awful, to be honest! We ordered shrimp fried rice, garlic sauce chicken, chicken wings and one more noodle item. Chicken wings were good, only good thing that I would like to write about! Garlic sauce chicken: it tasted sweet, can’t believe it. Does the chef know anything about Chinese food, probably not! Shrimp fried rice: the rice was either stale or uncooked, it was dry.
