Country Pizza Inn

Omg. This pizza was so good. I liked everything about it. We had the deluxe combo and it was sublime. The thin Crust held up on its own and the veggies were fresh, the fresh sauce had nice balance of sweet and savory to it. I consider myself a pizza nerd and this was definitely a place to add to my rotation. I just wish it was closer to me. Well done guys! The building is a bit tired looking and in needed some new ceiling tiles being replaced or painted and a facelift but that definitely does not affect the quality of the food. My only regret with Google reviews is you can't put half Stars I wish they would go to a 10 point system rather than a 5 point system as nobody deserves a five but I run across a few that deserve a 4.5. This is one of those times.

Tried the lunch buffet: pizza (excellent), spaghetti and meatballs (good), other items (great). My son ordered a calzone and shared a bite. It was outstanding! They make amazing sausage for it! A must try! Service was excellent! Seating could be improved (tables wobbly, booths are smaller than other restaurants).

Local favorite we've enjoyed for years. We come mainly for the pizza but other dishes are also very good. Great pizza is a matter of taste. This isn't my favorite place for pizza but I lived in the New Haven area for 4 years and, in my opinion, there is no better pizza anywhere, NYC and Chicago included. But Country Pizza Inn's pizza is one we go back to over and over again because the whole family enjoys it so much. Heartily recommended.

The pizza is hands-down the best around. No argument there. The staff seems to dislike what they do. It shows in their faces. I didn't count one smile in the many times i visited. The store is family owned and operated, but I think that the family stopped caring about their people a while ago. It's a shame. I personally don't like to contribute to that type of business. I decided to stop eating there. I really miss their pizza! It's Your decision, of course, but it's not worth it to me.

I went with a friend and was basically ignored by our waiter. He never came back to check with us and wouldn't even acknowledge my presence when he came back. Watched a guy come in and order after myself, and I guess since he was a regular he was served first when the waiter came out with both of our meals. I heard him ask the guy if he wanted Parmesan, but he never even bother to ask me, and yet seemed annoyed when I asked him. I had a veggie pizza which had fresh ingredients but was a little soggy. Also, they were out of mozzarella sticks in the early afternoon. Between the poor waiting service and soggy pizza, we won't be back.

Best pizza ever! Got to talking with the nice gentleman who i assume was a manager. While i was waiting for my pizza we got to discussing how they make theirs. Their sauce and dough is all homemade and they grate their own cheese in store. Very fresh. Very tasty. If i lived in the area, I'd be back to try their other menu item's. I definitely won't forget this place when i come back!

I havent been here since 1980.. it is almost the same looking and smelling.. It is amazing, the wings, salad, and the pizza is in a class all on it's own. If I could give it a 10 stars I would. I would like to thank the owner who still comes in every day and gets the buffet ready for us all to eat.. Tammi is amazing at serving as well. It's just the best. Thank you Thank you Thank you
