Great place for mexican food, the chips and salsa very good and the steak and chicken taco salad with cheese dip on it was amazing!

My wife and I were traveling through Clayton and decided to try La Cabana Mexican restaurant. It is honestly the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. The food was very flavorful with extra seasoning and sauces that made it 10 steps above any other Mexican restaurant. We can't wait to pass through Clayton again just to eat there again.

8 of us on our way to Maggie Valley Spyder Rally stopped for lunch, was awesome, great authentic Mexican food. Served hot. Will stop on way back home to Florida. Great food great service and prices.

The food was pretty good and the margaritas were delicious and got everyone buzzed. The only downside was the service. The waiter didn’t speak English very well and got a few things wrong on our order, but it was fine.

Consistently delicious, great portions. Not the overstuffed chimis that I'm use to but the flavor is outstanding. Arrive early or you might have a wait at dinner time, but it's worth the wait.
Tip: when they bring out the chips, ask for the hot salsa. The hot isn't crazy hot but has a fanatic smokey chili flavor!
