My friend and I have been to several different Sushi Ais many times. This was our first time in the Clayton spot.
Claudia is the best server!!! Food was great. Small location but the staff make the atmosphere enjoyable.

I absolutely love the sushi here, not too much rice and always fresh. I ambiance is cool, right next to a cigar shop the smell of tobacco and leather just so slightly scent the restaurant giving it a unique vibe.

My wife wanted to surprise me for my 44th Birthday dinner and were hit with a major T-Storm that knocked out the power, before we could even order. BLACKOUT But we made the best of it as a family and created some memories during our trip to St Louis MO. I Birthday dinner I won't soon forget. 😋 I am sure that with power our experience would have even been better but considering everything I still give this place 5 Stars.

I've picked up deliveries from here and once my hubby found out there was more than sushi here, we quickly popped in for a bite! First time and it's definitely worth it... unlimited -YOP! UNLIMITED sushi(the catch is knowing how much to order bc you'll be charged for whatever you don't finish 💁🏾♀️), but there are options! I went with the $23.99 choose your own w/ fried oysters as an appetizer and it lemme know I was in heaven lol!!

So I originally went in with my family to dine. Absolutely great customer service, great food I have nothing bad to say about that everything was just excellent. Fried cheesecake...FABULOUS!
I did later order take out.
I ordered chicken fried rice no carrots with broccoli the Philadelphia fried roll. I didn't check my order which was a mistake. No broccoli & my gift card was charged twice however I only ordered 2 items. So double charged.
3rd time I actually sat at the bar and the treatment when ordering my food definitely wasn't as kind as the 1st experience. The gentleman that had made my Philadelphia fried roll seemed to have a hell of an attitude issue but my waiter was fabulous.
Overall, dine in is great, carry-out...CHECK your food before leaving and make sure your card wasn't charged for more than what you ordered.
I'll return but dining in with family next time.
