We came around 8pm on a Saturday and it was almost empty so we had a nice quiet corner. Server was super friendly and quick. I got the shrimp and grits with gumbo cup, husband got the grass fed burger. We had the house made chips and spinach and artichoke dip for a starter. We also got desserts. Husband said burger was good, but flavor was a bit odd (he thought maybe it's because he isn't used to grass fed). I thought the shrimp and grits was really good, but wasn't a big fan of the gumbo. Dip and chips were very good, and dessert was nice as well. I wouldn't be opposed to returning some time.

Great local place with a huge menu selection and nice selection of beer. We went there with a party of seven people form and they easily accommodated us. The waitstaff were super friendly and helped us navigate the menu since a number of my group weren't sure what to order. I will definitely visit in the spring / summer when I can sit outside. It's worth checking out.

To start off we stood at the front for 15 minutes as all the workers walked past as if we wasn't there. We finally get seated by a gentleman that seemed as if he didn't really want to serve us. After being seated a lady came over to inform us that they only have 1 server and took our order for drinks. Following her a 3rd lady came to help us and this is after they said they had 1 server. We asked to be seated at the back of the restaurant where the the first gentleman who seemed as of he didn't want to help us in the first place brought menu's. I said thanks he quickly said yea and rushed away as if he was annoyed. Then a gentleman by the name of Eric came to help us which he did great. Later in the night the rest of our party arrived and ordered drinks. I believe that we had ordered all of a certain drink which the last members of our party ordered as well, but they were out of the mix for the drink so instead of saying they couldn't make the drink they mixed something else with it that wasn't so good. We felt unwanted at this place and maybe it's because of the location or because we didn't fit the profile that usually eats at that restaurant. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this restaurant specifically Clayton location. It's really sad that everyone can't be treated fairly even when spending the same color money. ERIC YOU DID GREAT AND WE APPRECIATE YOU

Just okay, but could be better. I went on a Monday night and they had a good, but not crazy crowd (it was hot). My main gripe was the bartender (just one) was very busy, and was slow to get drinks out. But what really bugged me was she didn’t clear the bar of empty glasses or food dishes - I stared at the last guest’s dishes and glasses the whole time I was there, and my dishes never got cleared and I was there well over an hour….

Great family or business atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Staff was very helpful with decisions on what to eat and had a great personality. Food was amazing and had lots of flavor. I definitely expect to visit again.

Normally we have a good experience. However, this time wasn't too great. My husband asked for lemons to put in his water, our waiter brought them out in his fingers without a napkin. We ordered gumbo, took forever to bring it out, I went and asked about it so that it wouldn't come out with the entrees, had to asked for extra napkins twice and had to ask for a water refill. Maybe our waiter was new, he wasn't too attentive.

Food was good. We sat at the bar, the tender was prompt and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed to enjoy our meal. Would definitely eat here again.

I had a very good experience here for my very first time. I ordered a salmon sandwich and had french fries. I was very pleased with the fact that they fulfilled my order as I requested. The salmon sandwich is technically supposed to be served cold. However, I requested that they heat the salmon and they did. The restrooms were clean and the server was nice. I don't really have a lot to say about the experience except that it was a good time. It's definitely a "feel good restaurant." Hence my giving them four stars as opposed to five.
