Wonderful cozy atmosphere. Bar tender was wonderful. The owner Mike came out and greeted me. Sushi was fresh and delish!
Despite its dimly light, dark atmosphere, Kyoto was one of the most friendly and inviting establishments in the area.
While staying the hotel down the street, I took a walk on over to Kyoto. I had a craving for Asian food (in particular, sushi), and saw that this place was open. I can't say how pleasantly surprised I was when my friend I were greeted so warmly after our long-ish walk over.
We were sat immediately in a relatively secluded dining area. The restaurant itself consists of a variety of different dinning options and seating. Their table sizes range from 2-8+, along side available hibachi and bar seating arrangements. The room's main color scheme consists of red and black with dim overhead lighting. We visited later in the evening and it was relatively busy, but with how they arranged their tables, it never felt over crowded.
Our waiter was beyond nice, and almost felt like a part of our table company rather than a server by the end of the night. They never over-whelmed us with their presence. They never interjected or interrupted our conversations, but still managed to make time to check in on us enough to provided us the sense that we're well taken care of.
Our food, once ordered, was brought to us with little wait. They made sure that our appetizers were the first to arrive, which is always appreciated. The food itself was very authentic tasting and delicious. I would definitely recommend anything with Tako (one of my favorites). The pricing was as expected if not low for the quality of food we received.
The evening I shared with my friend at Kyoto was one I wish I could re-live weekly. This restaurant is down right charming, if not alluring, even. I would highly recommend this establishment for date-nights or business meetings (given it's mysterious aroma). Whether you're in the area, or staying at the hotel, Kyoto can satisfy both your sushi craving and hunger.
Very nice atmosphere and the food was excellent. This was our first time at a hibachi restaurant and they definitely didn't disappoint.

We ordered sushi last weekend from here. Their Halloween Roll is always going to be my favorite. There's also a fair amount of places I go to where they used regular salmon instead of smoked salmon for their Philidelphia rolls, making it so that the cream cheese has an off taste. Kyoto uses smoked salmon, thankfully, and even that roll is fantastic.
I have been going here for months and everytime I love it. The hibachi meals are plentiful and delicious, the sushi rolls are resplendent, and I have never had an issue with the staff. However, recently (circa 05/2021) there has been a slight increase in price, one that is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I'm certain recent viral events are to blame but I would still recommend to anyone.
