I came here from Des Moines, Iowa to check out the burger and I had an amazing experience. The burger was tender and amazing and the owner was amazingly hospitable. I love the cafe feel of the place and all of the workers were extremely nice as well. Highly recommend when you come to Clarinda.
Down Right Delicious is an amazing restaurant with even more amazing staff. Their hospitality and down-to-Earth demeanor was great. Their food was amazing and their burger definitely deserves a spot in the top 10 burgers in Iowa!

We ate here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! The restaurant is cute and the owner was very welcoming. The food was perfect and the portions were huge! I had the special, a chicken ranch salad with Texas toast. My daughter had a HUGE chicken ranch wrap. My other daughter had a beautiful burger, as did my husband. It was all so good! Desserts are a specialty here, so we had to try something...a cotton candy cupcake, strawberry shortcake, and maple bacon chocolate chip cookies. YUM! We will definitely be back!
Down Right Delicious is the definition of feeling at home. It’s combination of great food and the most friendly staff will force me to return. My time at DRD was unbelievable. Definitely check this place out!

Best burger I have ever had! Homemade roll, fresh toppings and beef. We stopped in after a tennis meet and the bonus......THE BAKERY! Holy cow delicious.
I just received my very first order from here and I am so pleased! The maple bacon donuts and the glazed donuts are so delicious. I even tried the dinner rolls with some palmetto pimento cheese — so yummy! I will be making weekly orders! Thanks so much for delivering to Maryville and bringing bread and pastries back to my keto life!!!

Love coming here. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and friendly staff. They have a monthly special burger that I try to get each month and it never disappoints. This month was the pineapple burger with ham and it was possibly the best burger I've ever had. Cheers to Downright Delicious for the continual creativity and great food.
Pulled pork was awesome! The cinnamon rolls were the best I have had in years! They serve food and they are a bakery. I bought a birthday cake for my grandson from there and i was extremely impressed. Of course the have donuts and sweet rolls. They are only opened until 2pm I wish it was open later but I will definitely go out earlier than I am use to for those cinnamon rolls anyday!
The Interwebs said DR had burgers that were rated in the Top Ten in Iowa. Well, by god, Christiana is in town playing rock n' roll at Stick's tonite, so how could we pass up a Top Ten in ANY state as far as burgers are concerned? We couldn't. Top Ten burgers? They had THREE legit rated burgers and two were devoured after the road trip to get here. They also have bakery bread, donuts, cookies, a full menu of other chow, and cheesecake. The owners were super nice and the staff was awesome. If you're in Clarinda, IA and you don't stop in, you're missin' out!
Can not say enough good things about this restaurant. When i was over the road i always looked for hidden treasures that were not well known little did i know out of the hand full that I did find I would find the best of them in my hometown. Hope they keep getting recognized for their high quality of food. TELL EVERYONE
I've never had lunch here but their breakfast menu lives up to their name. Last time I went, I asked them to put my hashbrowns inside my burrito. I didn't believe it was scientifically possible - I'm not an astronaut or anything (just kidding, I am) - but they managed to pull it off, and for that they have my respect. Plus they have WiFi.
