Owner is extremely nice and hospitable, lots of plants makes the atmosphere feel inviting and service is great. Best of all the food is fresh and delicious, perfect blend of vegetables, meat, and yakisoba noodles. Teriyaki sauce is one of the best tasting in the Portland Metro area, highly recommended!

I love love love love love this location! They have a plant shop inside 😍 Their food is always yummy and filling. I had the teriyaki salmon last time I was in, and that's probably my favorite dish now. They had this cute sign that explained the importance of teaching kids to grow and take care of plants. So wholesome!

Great place. Super friendly staff/owner. Was very good with my 5 year old. Very cool restaurant that also sells plants.
The good was pretty tasty for a decent price. Has the Chicken Katsu plate and it was tons of delicious crispy chicken with tasty sauce.

WoW... The energy felt in this space... puts your mind at ease and your soul at rest. There's an indoor plant shop inside as well. Where they teach little ones very important attributes to have, through, taking care of plants. It's a different environment than I've ever come across before. It was nice and tranquil. It gives you a moment to stop and just be, for a few minutes. Very quick, very delicious. Homemade. I will definitely be back.

This place is so beautiful and the food is nothing to be sneezed at either. I had the chicken teriyaki plate (classic) and my partner had chicken katsu. Both were delicious!

The placed is filled with green life, aesthetically pleasing and peaceful. I came by myself and it was wonderful. Soft jazz and the warmth of the environment truly compliments the name of the little 'Joy Teriyaki' shop hidden and cuddled in next to target. A forever favorite for now on as I know that if I want to go somewhere that doesn't feel like home, a mini vacation I would say, I know where to go. Food was great, customer just as good. A+

My husband and I had an excellent lunch there today. We chose Poke bowls (tuna). The sauces were excellent, the food was light and fresh.
We were surprised to find that there is a beautiful houseplant shop inside the restaurant, and I chose two cute plants to take home, too! The presence of the plants in the shop made for a very pleasant dining environment.

This place hands down is my absolute favorite new place. Must try the short rib with white rice. Orange chicken meal with fried rice. Oh spicy teriyaki with white rice. Every bite is like running to the end of the rainbow and getting the pot of gold. Every bite is like heaven.. due to covid you can't eat inside but they have a nice restaurant with great customer service great food. Next to target and other stores. Love this place. The best around. 20 stars
