Ben's Hawaiian Cafe - Citrus Heights - Photo album

Looking around for solid Hawaiian food to be catered at a Celebration of Life event for my father, I stumbled upon Ben's Huli Huli Chicken. Our original plan was to settle for a Hawaiian chain restaurant but on a whim my mother and I decided to try this place. To make a long story short, the food
New location come and check it out. Was so sad when they moved farther away but stopped in today and same super delicious food, try the Hawaiian fried rice it is Great! You can get the meat by the pound or buy a dinner. They do catering and have food truck too. I am just a customer but loyal one as
Great customer service, horrible food! Chicken had NO flavor whatsoever, rice was dry, and macaroni tasted expired. Spent $13 for 1 piece of chicken! I wish I had looked in the plate before leaving. We love this place! Such wonderful people, and delicious food. The ginger beef is my favorite. The best Lumpia I've had. Aloha lives in their hearts.
Had to see if they lived up to being Maui's Famous, especially since my ohana has been on Maui since 1880. The Teriyaki Ginger Beef was ono, but the mac salad did not have the local flavor I expected. Still gave 5 stars based on the Aloha Spirit and teriyaki.
