China Buffet

The food was great it always is but they tried to charge me 7:25 a pound for the food when it was supposed to be 6:25 so I got them to do that. When I came in I knew we were going to get a lot of the crab rangoons so I asked the gentleman to go ahead and ask the kitchen to make me up three boxes and when they came out they were going to charge me $35 for the three boxes and I did that so that we wouldn't take everything off of the buffet and then have to wait for more to come out so I didn't think that that was very fair so I asked them to ring it up as 6:25 a pound like it should have been and then we had other food with it but we never got a receipt so I never really saw what was charged and what was not it came out to $86 it would have been $101 but they took off some for the crab rangoons so I'm not really sure what I paid for and I felt for what we got it was a little expensive and he didn't really ring it up on the register he just kept writing down numbers on a pad of paper and like I said we never got a receipt I would have liked to known what I paid for. I always go to China buffet because I think they're the best China buffet around All the rest of them are either too expensive or the food is just not as good especially the crab raccoons and the sweet and sour chicken. A lot of times they have different things I guess on different days because we couldn't get the scallops that are usually deep fried on a stick but my daughter did get some seafood delight which had octopus or something like that in it and she said that was very good fried rice is always good I love the sweet and sour chicken and my daughter and son-in-law like the orange chicken and sesame chicken along with the sushi it was for a birthday celebration so we were very happy with the food it was just a little iffy on the price. The one gentleman who took the order for the crab rangoons to be gotten in the back he didn't ring us out another gentleman did and he was pretty upset that I wanted to get the cranberry goes for 6:25 like they should have been and not $35 it was about a $18 or $19 difference All I recommend is the next time to give a receipt so you know what you're paying for but the food was outstanding! Thank you

Food is always fresh while being maintained and rotated. Sushi is made right there in front of you at the kiosk. Atmosphere is dimly lit and calm. The service is always great with respectful waitresses. I was able to receive a nice Bambo Calendar from them after eating in from the gentleman at the register. Very nice business.

I said I would return and re evaluate the service here.. It was totally improved. Service, food quality and temperature were excellent. The cold and hot buffets were attended to often and the dining room staff were prompt, friendly and available. The Sushi bar also was much improved. This is what I was used to at China Buffet Eastgate. I know I can't have everything the way I would like , but I would at least like to.have the option of ordering egg foo yung and the baked apple dessert. I don't mind a separate order cost. Keep up the good work .. Chuck

Nice buffet to have in the area and usually stocked. They have some sushi and usually have the bean curd pockets which are my favorite. The variety has slightly decreased over the years with one small buffet now gone, but classics remain. I'm not sure what is missing from that buffet but it's nothing I normally get, maybe they took out pizza, mac&chz, and the like, or at least that stuff isn't around my usual fare. I normally go for lunch and to go, so not sure if they have the seafood dinner buffets anymore and service was good when we use to do sit down. Clean from what I usually see. Price is reasonable for the times for to go. Not 5 star dining but definitely nice option for the area. I will continue to go back.

The food is flavorful, of good quality, and the staff are friendly, but some of the food was not as warm as I would have liked. This buffet focuses mostly on Chinese style food so you won’t have the huge selection of American food that you’ll find at other Chinese buffets. Some people complain of the lack of options, but this buffet had more Chinese options than buffets that were twice the size. There were three of us and we each had sodas to drink. The bill was around $50, I believe this is fair for the quality of the food.
